Perhaps you're right. I maybe should have advocated for a far better monetization system instead. But as it is currently, I think it hurts SLRs image. I'm sorry if I come across as crude, I don't mean to. Do you truely believe the system is not predatory?

I wanted to see public opinion on this, obviously it means nothing to SLR so not sure why people are so riled up about it. Saying I can't criticize something because its legal is just... nonsense. This is how companies win. When people stop pointing out horrible business practices. Again gaming is a good example:

-pre orders
-silly editions up to 130 bucks
-cough star citizen
-the list goes on and on, this goes for many industries

Yes, all of it is fully legal, and there are many 'happy' customers/simps. But calling out companies on their total BS business practices is the only way to start change.

Yeah if something like that happened for the few who would beta test such a program that could really add more long-term content and possibly be a transitioning bridge to bringing content that isn't just a temporary cam video and instead a lasting video others could keep for longer... heck also add the ability to buy a particularly well liked Cam session for future use.

I personally checked the cams once just to see whats going on and decided it wasn't really my thing. After that I don't even notice it anymore. Here is my 2 cents tho, if its a feature they want to present and other users enjoy it, why get in the way of that? People ruin themselves in plenty of other things, kids and gacha games, adults and online casinos, etc. It is really weird to get in the way of someone else's "fun" when it is completely legal. Imagine if another group of people campaigned against vr porn specifically? And they call vr porn users, us, "sad lonely dudes"

AFAIK Dreamcam runs the VR cam service and the same feeds are on other sites like VR Bangers and Badoink - SLR is probably not diverting any resources at all to this, quite the opposite, it would be additional revenue if they're a Dreamcam partner. Removing this feature does not help SLR, the users or the girls. Camming is one of the safest avenues of sex work - take that away and the girls may have no other options than to have actual sex for money instead of just pretending and providing entertainment. Not sure who you think you're helping here, while still advocating for porn which is infinitely more destructive than camming.

vrpicasso Clearly I am worried for the user, this has already financially ruined people and its only increasing. This puts them into emergency life threatening situations. Unlike gambling there are no protective measures in place to prevent or slow down users from ruining themselves. And unlike gambling there is nothing to win back.

Not sure what world you live in where sex work is the only career avenue for women, but for nearly all countries this is completely false. In what way is porn infinitely more destructive than camming, or are you purely talking from the models perspective? I think financial despair is by far the most destructive to someones immediate livelihood.

I don't want to live in a world where anything even mildly or potentially addictive is prohibited, protecting a handful of people from self-destructive tendencies at the expense of the fulfilment of the many. At a certain point you need to take responsibility for your own life. Porn itself is also addictive. I would support any company offering help or a hotline to help users (or models) who need guidance, but apart from that I advocate for personal choice and responsibility in most things.

Yes, they are at fault for falling for it. That doesn't make the business practice ethical. You're enticed to spend huge sums in a short time frame, with nothing to gain. It's completely optional to view, completely optional to make an account, completely optional to buy tokens, completely optional to pay models

If someone lacks the will power or mental fortitude to say no then they will lose their money elsewhere regardless, so it's a meaningless argument

If you want some kind of protection then write to your local government representative

Having VR cams makes SLR more appealing, people are here for VR porn. Having the option to view live VR porn streams is icing on the cake, even more so when they can fulfil your fantasies right there and then
