  • Interactive Haptics Sex Toy Scripts Help Guide (Kiiroo,Vorze,Handy,Lovense,OSR)

Since the last SLR update, when using The Handy, I keep getting a message that I need to update my firmware. But it's updated.

The last update I can find on the Handy website is from March 2022.

What's going on? Am I missing something?

framzess I would say go for the Handy in your case as its a great performing toy, and you dont need anything other than just your Quest 2

I'm having trouble having my newest funscripts work. The old ones work fine, but the new ones won't. They're properly named and in the same folder as the videos they're connected to. I'm currently using a Quest 2 and Kiiroo Keon.

wshume this might be a longshot, but for some reason funscript files/mp4 files that have certain symbols in the name dont play properly. If i remember correctly the "#" screws things up.

wshume - yes should work fine, just double check filenames are matching and as basic as possible as @bamjus says - dont use any symbols, try simplifying like 'video123'

Does streaming scripts work for you without issue?

RealcumberScripts The filenames match and don't have any unusual characters (letters and numbers only). They're in the same folder. SLR still won't detect them. It is happening with every funscript I have downloaded in the past few weeks. I had downloaded many other scripts a few months ago, and all of those work fine.

Which player are you using? DeoVR/SLR app? Which version number (make sure you are running latest update?)

When did they start not working for you?
          From any particular script?
You have an active SLR premium membership?

@RealcumberScripts my significant other looked in my toy box, i was expecting shock and name calling but she just wanted to know is there any plans for any of the thrusting machines on the market to ever get haptic connect support? and if so which 1 or brands are most likely?

dojimmy - you have a keeper in a girl like that! 😄
Great shes open minded and thats a great question - I am only aware of one bluetooth/interactive possible device - the Lovense Sex Machine (https://www.lovense.com/lovense-sex-machine) - but its a bit more pricey, but I can imagine it would be a pretty wild experience matched with a script

If you come across any yourself then definitely let us know and we can look into getting support for it at SLR!

@RealcumberScripts yes the lovense does seem to be 1 of the better 1s out there that we looked at, plus they are quite a decent company to deal with regarding delivery and faults etc. There is also a new app controlled hismith that just been released. I wasn't sure if current scripts would work as there is no way for the app to control depth on the devices in that price range from what I have seen so far. Need to spend crazy money like 4x the price of the lovense for machines that offer that. This price range the depth has to be set manually and can't be adjusted without turning the machine off. Though I'm sure something could be done script wise using the variable speeds.

RealcumberScripts I am using the latest version of the DeoVR/SLR app installed via Sidequest.

I have a few dozen old scripts (downloaded 6+ months ago) that work fine. I also have several new scripts (downloaded in the past few weeks) that don't work. The old ones that work have always worked, and the new ones that don't work have never worked.

                I don't have a premium membership.

wshume - Can you try using haptics connect on your mobile device instead as maybe theres some conflicting issue on the sideloaded version (assuming you are using haptics connect installed on your Quest?

Also have you tried directly emailing SLR support where they can help troubleshoot you more specifically?

This is the first time I've come across an issue such as yours, hope it can be resolved

dojimmy - I dont think the HiSmith will be able to controlled as app controlled is not the same as bluetooth or wifi controlled which I dont think it has yet, and controllable depth is actually quite important

Take a look through this big list of 147+ toys = https://iostindex.com/?filtersChanged=1&filter0ButtplugSupport=7

Its Interactive possible supported devices - If you see potential for a good device there, please feel free to let us know!

                    RealcumberScripts

We will likely grab a lovense 1 at some point, just to play aound with without scripts.

Hopefully machines with automatic variable depth will become more available and reasonable in price as time goes on, and more companys start designing and producing them.

Cool so apparently my new Handy won't connect to my wifi because it's 5g and can't be changed.
So I just spent a couple hundred bucks (CAN) on a dud with accessories (and a script I can't use). Awesome.
Nowhere in the marketing does it mention the 2.4 GHz requirement, until after you've bought it.

I seem to have a real talent for getting ripped off by computer programmers that don't deserve their luxurious salaries and unscrupulous companies that excel at bait n switch tactics.

Johnny166 - Its unfortunate and surprising that Handy does not highlight that requirement more clearly if thats the case

Did you try googling how to login to your wifi router? Most if not all routers are able to be logged in as admin (usual shows login on a sticker on the router) and you can actually turn on or off 2.4 ghz / 5 ghz channels within the admin panel

If for some reason you can't then I would look into getting a router that can do 2.4 ghz, as the Handy experience is really good once you get it connected, so it would be a shame to not be able to try it out as much as possible first before any considerations of returning it
