Wow! I used to have to hide a Hustler magazine. Now there's people fucking on my lap. Livin in the future, man.

Here's some issues I've encountered and some tips to overcome.

Issue: Video settings are wonky (too dark, too zoomed, etc)

It seems every video format from every different content creator's files are a bit different. I have to tweak the settings every time I go in, and they're not always the same.

Feature Request: It would be lovely to be able to save video settings per creator. Or have a couple presets we could choose quickly.

Issue: Tap detected when gripping, brings up interface controls.

Pain in the butt. I come to this site specifically to grip something.

Feature Request: Need a way to tell the app to ignore taps or map it to another gesture. Maybe ignore one hand always. I think it's possible, but maybe not through Safari.

Workaround: You can disable tracking of your right hand under Settings>Eyes & Hands>Hand Input> Left Hand Only

Hi @Rockchurch thank you for your suggestions. There will be an app in the future specifially for AVP but it is still a work-in-progress.

You can also check the following forum threads for any updates on the AVP progress as well as other users posting their issues and solutions:

do you have hand occulusion in passthrough mode and able to grab tits?

Update on the Tap detected when gripping issue... the workaround doesn't work. You can disable tracking of one hand in the os settings, but the in-browser app overrides this and accepts pinch to tap from both hands.

There are whispers of an accessibility setting, but I couldn't get a combination to work. This might be viable in the short-term before an AVP app, because I suspect the accessibility changes are lower-level in the stack and can't be overridden by any apps.

    PabloSLR Sounds great!

I'm an iOS/macOS dev working on a visionOS project now. Feel free to reach out if you need help testing. Or even if you want to run something past me when liaising with your appdev contractor.

I wanted to try the Vision Pro Demos and used your "manual". So i opened Safari, browsed on SLR, logged in and played the demo. i can t choose higher resolution than 1920x1080. also all buyed videos are in window mode (no matter what i choose on right side below). it tracks my head moving...that s all. isp connection is 1gbit/s - so no connection problem. i got the german version of the apple vision pro. any ideas?

Hi Capoeirista are you sure the resolution is 1920x1080? It should be 1920p instead. As for the window mode, any screenshots of the issue would be appreciated

        PabloSLR yeah - 1920p...this is 1920x1080 or? anyways - i can t choose 4000p and i can t get immersive experience...

sorry - i don t get it how to get the pic previewed here ...

Hey @Capoeirista, thanks for pointing this out, I see in the screenshot that it goes to sexlikereal.com, can you try it on sexlikereal.com/hub and let me know if there's a difference for you?

Capoeirista I see, it looks like AVP's WebXR may not be enabled. Please check this out:

          1. Open Settings
          2. Select Apps.
          3. Select Safari.
          4. Scroll to the bottom of the window and select Advanced.
          5. Scroll to the bottom of the window and select Feature Flags.
          6. Under Experimental XR Features, enable WebXR Device API and WebXR Hand Input Module.
          7. Under WebKit Feature Flags, enable WebXR Augmented Reality Module and WebXR GamePads Module.
          8. Exit Settings.
          9. Open Safari, or if it's already open, refresh a WebXR-enabled page to check it is working.

If you see something else when navigating to the final part, feel free to share the screenshot of that too

Edit: added additional steps for WebKit Feature Flags

Megas_SLR yep - that was the problem, it was disabled - see screenshot. additional comment - i can t search videos and can t choose "purchased videos" - it s missing. but vr works so far - keeps crashing from time to time but i understand that it s hard to get it stable actually. demo in 6k looks good so far - demo in 8k was not that good - it s not running smooth at all (fully buffered). passthrough videos also actually don t work - you see your own "persona" (avatar in vision pro) as background :-D horror show

            2 months later

@PabloSLR What happened?! You guys broke the WebXR experience! Can’t watch any videos!

It was working fine a few days ago.

Rockchurch hey, did you update your AVP to Os 2? This is required for correct functioning of vr player
