Ok @Manny_S regarding your latest video (lenna ross), the very first position of the male actor is standing. As you can see here in this small poll: https://forum.sexlikereal.com/d/8556-how-do-you-view-vr-porn , nobody of the viewers is standing when they put on the headset. So this just results in the model being off, most likely her sinking into the floor. It's going to be much better if you have the male model either sitting in a chair, or lying on a bed. Keep in mind though that there will be much more conformity between chair heights than bed heights, so in my opinion a scene should always start with the male positioned in a chair, just like in that latest Alex Nash video, he did that correctly. Also it's just easier to have the model walk around the male in a chair than the mail in a bed

Also that chair position you use is ok-ish (though the male actor is leaning really very much behind, so that's not comfortable at all for us viewers, would be much better if the actor wouldnt need to bend backwards so much) but then the problem is that the female actor climbs onto this block. This just results in her floating in the air. The chances that we viewers have an object of that size and shape in front of us is minimal. So most of the times this just results in her floating in the air, which again kills immersion.

Again, all this can be improved if you just think: how are our viewers positioned when they watch and if you assume that there are no objects in front of them. So dont let the actress climb onto something, because we viewers most likely wont have such object in that exact position.

It's quite simple actually but this WILL really improve the video's! Keep it up! You guys came a long way and I'm sure you can even get much better, I believe in you!

It might just be me but I find getting a good angle with PT missionary to be a big challenge. I'm usually planking over a fleshlight and trying to line things up. Quest 3

    RealTime taking some time to configure the hotkeys for specific image adjustment options was a game changer for me personally. Makes adjusting a scene easy and instantaneous without having to open the image settings

        Picouser SLRO appears to be lacking a lot in quality control. Just when we thought these compression and focus issues were resolved, they're back again.

          I think the biggest problem with all VR porn is that the people making it don't watch VR porn ever.

            I tried looking for a thread specific to this question but couldn't find one but I have noticed quite a few vids lately and previously where in AI PT there is like a ghosting image layered on top of the actual scenes where you can see the silhouettes of the performers from like a different point in the scene overlapping what is supposed to be shown making it unwatchable in AI PT and I can't imagine I'm the only one experiencing it, so is there any way to fix that or is it a defect with the individual scenes itself from the studios?

            And I've noticed sweat drys up fast on this fabric that came with it. You can add your own if you have vrcover or amvr face cushions. But it comes with two, one thin one thicker. I prefer the thicker. And they manage to get the facegaurd cushion on there perfectly. It's a perfect fit.

            I don't disagree but I think its just a symptom of a larger problem: the reasons content producers enter VR porn is rarely about making a great product as defined by the viewers.
            Porn (in general) has a built-in filter that limits both the number and type of technical creators that enter the market. VR has a huge barrier-to-entry in equipment costs and technical requirements.

            So you end up with a very small pool that is saturated with producers whose motivations rarely line up with viewers.

            • get-rich-quick types with a focus on short-term profit so have little motivation to invest in quality
            • people who get into porn primarily for the sex. IE: get paid to fuck pornstars or to be near pornstars to increase chances of sex.
            • narcissist types who think they know better and will always ignore critical feedback
            • eager amateurs who just don't have the resources to invest in quality
            • then there are the nerds who would rather invest in something "cool" or "groundbreaking" than burn resources on improving basic quality.

            None of this is to say that there aren't outliers. VR porn is still viewed as kind of the unexploited wild country where people can dig out a fortune. That does attract the more entrepreneurial types who may recognize that investing in quality upfront will likely result in greater future earnings and sustainability/stable growth. Of course, many of those entrepreneurs suffer from one or more of the above listed faults.

                            There are probably serious technical obstacles to this, but I'm surprised shoots don't have an actual VR headset monitoring the camera feed. When you shoot any kind of regular video, you've got monitors on set wired up to the cameras and you check white balance, focus, framing, color, etc. The same should apply here, but I doubt there are any VR cameras that can actually be rigged that way. Maybe they can, who knows. It would at least easily explain any "damn X or Y director/studio never screws up like this, what happened?"

                            What is more unacceptable is when the same studios consistently have the same exact issues with their videos, for weeks or months on end. How long was LustReality/VRSexperts's white balance off before they fixed it (tbf at least they fixed it)? How do they consistently manage to have the director yapping in the released scene? Sometimes less than 10 seconds into it...just yell "places" and start over dude, wtf.

                            As for content not present here, how many years has it been that VirtualTaboo's had their head in the sand about:

                            1. The wrong lens profile correction being applied to their footage (or none)
                            2. Incorrect stitching
                            3. Bad scale on top of it

                            I am assuming the same crew shoots some of TmwVRnet's content, it has the same exact issues 😂

                            Part of me is thankful that it's normal for JAV to credit the director. I always know who to avoid, and who releases well-framed, properly positioned, immersive videos. It seems like the best we've got for American and European porn (other than when SLR credits the production team for their Originals 👍️ thank you) is silently noticing the same sets - and likely the same crew - doing jobs for multiple studios:
