State of content / SLR in general

It's hard to argue that that the content hasn't gotten worse in recent months, or at least that good content hasn't gotten more sparse, but I think it's clear there's been a lot of thought in addressing that. It's also pretty hard to argue that SLR isn't the best site around in terms of the range of content on offer, as well as user experience by a fairly wide margin, ie. streaming, integrated haptics and AI passthrough. Fuck...try using Playa for example. That said, there seems to be more and more ghetto shit lately and less that I actually want to watch - but it's cool it's all there for folks that dig it.
I've come and gone over the years and am currently on an annual subscription. I have my complaints but I actually think SLR is better than it's ever has been and am excited to see where it goes. I believe there's passion about what they're doing. Stay the course. Need more Maddy May vids.
Just editing to add that some of the recent OGs have been awesome and I, for one, have had no trouble finding unhealthy amounts of porn to watch. 
rerun119 If I'm being as real as possible, being 100, I think there is a very real strain of consumers, perhaps 20-25% of VR porn consumers, who want an experience that mimics real intimacy to turn them on. This could possibly be combined with sexual content but also possibly just be a virtual experience of non-judgmental acceptance and affection (which could easily be misconstrued as love.) From what you've posted, you sound a lot like me and I think we are in agreement!
There are a lot of people out there who probably believe they have a "step"family kink because the only kind of emotional intimacy they have ever known has been with a family member. The idea of being emotionally intimate with a stranger is so foreign to their personal experience that it impedes physical arousal in other scenarios. Perhaps this is an opportunity for the rise of a more gentle and sensual niche in VR porn that can be explored in the future to help certain lonely people realize their worth and find soulmates. There are sensual/GFE genres along those lines that could meet this need.
But honestly, at most, I hope/expect this will lead to a better brand of step-porn. And if it is hot VR POV-Creampie content, I will be satisfied. To which I say yippie-kai-yay! Bring on the tantalizing smut and I will say no more.

adinihsan The VRB infection is no joke, but you gotta hand it to them. SLR might delete posts they don't like, just like VRB, but at least they did one thing better: they honor freedom of speech by allowing one whole thread "SLR Party Riots" where you can say whatever you want. Just keep it clean and positive in the other threads

Meanwhile all big studios have unlimited downloads or an insanely high limit. Is there even a studio with lower limits? I'm not aware of one, not even close
Hi, the poll remove was my fault, I was moderating a provocative comment and ended up selecting the wrong option. Trying to find a way to reinstate the poll, it really had nothing to do with censoring or the outcome

adinihsan I saw a thread where someone was mourning deaths of female performers, and the replies were all like "STFU, ppl die." Then when the poster got pissed about that, the thread was disappeared. It's a big part of why I was worried to comment at all, thankfully my reception has been better, but I'm trying to stay upbeat and uncontroversial. So yeah, just keep it all positive vibes and happy thoughts :\

Current forum engine is crap btw. We miss many mod tools and there's no way to revert things. If we see more people coming will upgrade to some better one

Poblo66 that's perfectly fine to say, and I don't plan on hiding your comment mentioning what the vote ratio was either. Honest mistake on my end, unfortunately there's no way to reinstate it with the current forum engine
theHobbit It's not that their is nothing good but the quality of the content just isn't as good as it was 2-3 years ago, it's not always SLR's fault like big studios pulling their content from the site but the reality is if you're not into amateur content 80-90% of what's released just isn't up to par with professional studios. Only thing that's better is passtrough and scripts probelm is not everybody can use it because of equipment.

I disagree - 1. which 'professional studio' has Ellie Nova, DanDangler and Layla Jenner scenes? Sinatra Monroe, Angie Faith Kelsi Monroe. All here. Maybe you could say VRspy are decent but they are very similar to SLRO in terms of current casting and these scenes are aggregated here.
Which talent are you specifically missing. Who else? Maybe the talent pool has dried up, we often see no tits no ass girls week in week out over at wankz. The girls aren't as pretty. That isn't SLRO's fault is it.
The kind of girls that I figure many of the complainers are talking about from 2/3 years back if you are being objective on basing performers on looks.
The talent pool that you are describing from 2-3 years, many of the stars simply don't do VR anymore it seems as we would have seen them on other sites. The fan favourites who still do VR still make appearances across all sites. Lexi Luna etc. If you go to POVR for instance, you regularly see the same complaints that are levelled here about talent. Generally the quality of girls we are seeing now are those that generally won't have massive presence on Onlyfans. The ones that do generally are pretty enough and will skip VR and promote self made content on Onlyfans which has had a detrimental effect on 2D porn as well. No-one really speaks about this, many just attack SLR.
Image quality. Not one Professional Studio has been consistent over the last few years so attempting to make out like all the other studios are streets ahead of SLR is simply not correct.
Storylines: - It is generic across the board now. It's the MacDonaldization of porn, started with tube sites and has infiltrated VR now.
Tech they are still the best. They will be the first to market with 6DOF. All the other places aren't as slick on this side, they just wait for SLR to do something and then copy it, if it's successful.
European girls are hot - just go to the red light area in Amsterdam and see for yourself. Pretty sure if porn paid well over there you would see some outstanding talent there but there must be a reason why sometimes you see 10 Europeans in one scene and I would guess that they are probably cheap to cast compare to their America counterparts. Alyssia Kent was a big fave of mine, but camming is more lucrative than porn for her.
I get frustrated sometimes, like when you like a performer and the studio do something like skip doggy when you are an ass man, but on the whole SLRO is still the best. No matter how you look at it.
