The recenter at least moves around a little bit with my head now so I guess that is an improvement. It doesn't move vertically with my head. Why not?

What I don't understand is that it used to work correctly with vertically and horizontally. Then you guys got rid of it and now it's like you are starting all over on how to program it.

Can you answer why you got rid of it in the first place?
Was it because you had to, to make something else work?
or was it a side effect of something else that you didn't see coming?
Maybe because you thought the other way was better?

I don't know but if you explained it then it would help us understand what happened. Because right now it seems like you got rid of it and can't figure out how to just put it back to the way it was before.

Even though it is frustrating I am glad you are trying to fix it.

On Quest 2 in both the Steam and Oculus versions the Handy is not connectable anymore.
Menu is still tilted and to low in the Steam version,
In the Steam version the Quest controllers are not recognized, so zooming and skipping is not possible.

On the plus side, both apps have smoother videoplayback than before. And the DeoVR streaming app installed on my Quest performes pretty well now (although quality with Steam should still be better i think).

I'm new here, but for the price i'm paying monthly i wasn't aspecting this hassle with an app....

Thanks for fixing recentering. Now I can hold recenter again and move the video smoothly while I press the recenter button instead of only moving the video once I stop pressing it

I hate when that happens, u edited something only to fuck it up but can't go back to the previous way you had it, lol it was fine how it was

I would say that I might have never known that you guys added the UI tilt option in the setting if you didn't tell me. I doubt that other people will find that one own their own.
I really think you should make it default on. I can't think of a reason why you would not want it on. At the very least most people would what it on.

Also I have not had the handy disconnect once since Saturday. I did get a new router and modem on Saturday. And I put them closer to the handy so I don't know which one is the reason. Either way it is a fixed problem for me. Thank you

Vrsumo2017 After he told me about tilt in the settings it fixed it.
I think they should tell everybody that option is there.

rerun119 thank you yes this tilt toggle did fix the exact problem that we had all initially described!!

Vrsumo2017 By default it's Mapped to holding both triggers at the same time, but accidentally it would open the player menu so Mapped to button A.

In the beginning, I was struggling a lot when trying to hit both triggers at the same time, until I noticed that you just have to get used to pressing and holding the hand trigger first before using the index trigger.

Vrsumo2017 It should be button A by default cuz nothing else is mapped to button A.

I believe 'Pause/Play' is normally mapped to the A button by default

I personally prefer the more intuitive 'Thumbstick Right Center Click' as Re-Center default

Kieshi Added "Compilations" toggle

Tried this toggle today for the first time. Did a search for a performer and then toggled compilations off but it didn't seem to have any effect. Is this how it is supposed to work?

I can confirm the same issue as the_ap regarding interface centering on Steam VR and Index.

Previously it'd usually be centered fine on launch, but now I have to always manually recenter, and then - while video content at least seems to be centered fine - the interface is place way too low.

Hi, just confirming the Keon + Bluetooth issue on the quest 3/2 remains (crashing after about ₂₀ min back to Oculus home. I didn't see a patch note on this smaller release but figured I'd let you all know all the same. Thanks!
