sylvan can you please check if app has been updated to version 13.18.1627 on your headset?

        "Recenter functionality improved"
        I think you mean,

        "Recenter functionality Removed"

It seems to recenter horizontally, but vertically the recenter button places the UI far to low. I have to physically move and look downwards to see the UI. When I drag the UI upwards it becomes massive and can't be scaled back. If you're intention was to require your Users to have more physical strain on their neck when using your app, then you've succeeded. Well done.

I don't know others, but for me it updated today, and it seems to me that you merged some changes you shouldn't have on the 1627 delta.
The scripts are not available on the videos!!

Full videos stopped loading and only getting trailers. How does an update that breaks something that important get released..?

The recenter at least moves around a little bit with my head now so I guess that is an improvement. It doesn't move vertically with my head. Why not?

What I don't understand is that it used to work correctly with vertically and horizontally. Then you guys got rid of it and now it's like you are starting all over on how to program it.

Can you answer why you got rid of it in the first place?
Was it because you had to, to make something else work?
or was it a side effect of something else that you didn't see coming?
Maybe because you thought the other way was better?

I don't know but if you explained it then it would help us understand what happened. Because right now it seems like you got rid of it and can't figure out how to just put it back to the way it was before.

Even though it is frustrating I am glad you are trying to fix it.

Oculus Quest 2 - running this app version, but errors appeared after updating from 13.12 to 13.14 I think

I have lots of issues with the app freezing when watching videos via DLNA. When I return to the Listview/local main menu, after skipping through a few videos (sometimes 2, sometimes 5), the app freezes and i can't do anything but restart it.
Or When I watch something via DLNA, then go to the SLR Site and then back to the Listview/local main menu, it also freezes.
Sometimes I get some network connection error or
              "Thread was beeing aborted
              -> Thread was beeing aborted"

              or

              "Error getting Response Stream
              (ReadDoneAsync2):
              Reeive Failure"

but often it just freezes without showing an error.

Maybe i don't remember correctly, but wasn't the option "Stereo with OpenUI" a global setting / permanent some time ago? Because since a few versions ago (like 13.14 or so) I have to turn it off for every video that I open.
Sorry my bad, forgot to set it as default...

On Quest 2 in both the Steam and Oculus versions the Handy is not connectable anymore.
Menu is still tilted and to low in the Steam version,
In the Steam version the Quest controllers are not recognized, so zooming and skipping is not possible.

On the plus side, both apps have smoother videoplayback than before. And the DeoVR streaming app installed on my Quest performes pretty well now (although quality with Steam should still be better i think).

I'm new here, but for the price i'm paying monthly i wasn't aspecting this hassle with an app....

Thanks for fixing recentering. Now I can hold recenter again and move the video smoothly while I press the recenter button instead of only moving the video once I stop pressing it 👌

rerun119 Because right now it seems like you got rid of it and can't figure out how to just put it back to the way it was before.

So in other words you're saying, They fucked it up 🤣🤦‍♂️

I hate when that happens, u edited something only to fuck it up but can't go back to the previous way you had it, lol it was fine how it was 🤦‍♂️

Hopefully they get it working the way it was. 🤞

                  Kieshi That fixed it.
Thank you to you guys for putting it back.

I would say that I might have never known that you guys added the UI tilt option in the setting if you didn't tell me. I doubt that other people will find that one own their own.
I really think you should make it default on. I can't think of a reason why you would not want it on. At the very least most people would what it on.

Also I have not had the handy disconnect once since Saturday. I did get a new router and modem on Saturday. And I put them closer to the handy so I don't know which one is the reason. Either way it is a fixed problem for me. Thank you

bazzio we are looking into this, thank you for the notice
