Yah7zee It's depressing how much the casting suggestions are completely ignored. There's almost never any kind of response on them unless it's a girl they were already planning on shooting.
In my opinion SLR should have a community manager who's actually participating in conversations about casting and making an effort to give out information on the suggestions they're looking into and the ones they don't think are possible.

Agreed casting has been overall terrible for a while. I think part of the problem is that it’s just so subjective and people are suggesting hundreds of different models, there’s no way to cycle through all of it. I actually think a poll with only 10 choices is the best way to do it. Go through and take the 10 models that have been mentioned the most in the forums over the past 6 months and get a poll going. You’re never going to please everyone but this would be a way to please a bigger percentage.
Cause right now it does feel very much like “as long as we put something out it’s cool and people will stay interested” and that won’t last too long as soon as other studios start blowing you away. Vrbangers and vrconk are blowing everyone out of the water right now with the visual quality, scale, immersion and casting. And it’s not even close. If they started releasing scenes more often I don’t think povr or SLr would survive much longer.
The most recent vrconk scenes are insane how good they are from a quality/resolution standpoint. It’s the most realistic I’ve seen. I’m not even into cosplay. In fact, I hate the cosplay stuff in general but their casting is so damn good that I find myself watching it anyway because those top quality models barely shoot for other studios.
The models from the US are so much better

The quality v.s. quantity scale is out of balance, I'd say. I guess I don't mind if it exists, but it needs to be filtered out from view almost entirely everywhere (lists, notifications, all over) if it hasn't met a quality gate.
It feels a bit like logging into Netflix and all you see is no new shows but random reposts of old movies and random fan clips from kids remaking hollywood movies in their living room. There is probably a new episode of a show you're interested in somewhere in there, but you can't quite ever find it amongst all the other stuff:
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the occasional YouTube video on a niche topic. But I'm not going to pay for it for the content subscription like I would for Netflix or HBO or someone who balances quality and quantity and it's not just a free for all The tech angle is fine, but the growth of the tech has to go along with the curation of high quality content and partners if the customers are to go along for the ride and fund it.

I think mostly in that thread they refer to overall and other studios casting in slr platform. As for originals we have the top trending casting with combination of famous models and in the same time sometimes taking risks trying new models. I personally think our casing is similar but most of the times much better then vrbangers, also scenes much better in terms of storytelling, model performances, amount of positions + our viewers get more minutes for their money as our scenes are longer then theirs and give variety of fetishes and other goodies to enjoy for variety of audience. On cosplay they do a good job with costumes, and set decorations but they particularly produce cosplay content for vrconk platform. We time to time do cosplays but I think it’s still a niche and not for most of the viewers. Our castings and scenes still the top scenes on the whole slr platform. It’s been in the past year and continues till now. I think it’s tenders to be even more popular as we cut on releases and it created more anticipation for slroriginals. Many waiting and craving for originals each scene to come out.
Also many suggestions on forums come from fans of particular models, obviously they want them to be in our casting and we do look over them, inquire statistics and status of the model only then making a decision on casing and pairing.

doublevr Thing is, i don't compare the quality of SLR Originals casting against the other studios that post videos here. You guys are higher quality than pretty much all of them. I compare the current SLR Originals casting against the casting you guys used to do, like great scenes with 2-3+ A list talent girls that make your jaw drop. Lately BGGG scenes seem really rare and when you do do them they seem to be 1 A lister and 2 new or less popular girl. A lot of the BG scenes lately are new/less popular girls too (or at least new to me).
You guys are still doing good work, it's just not jaw dropping stuff like you used to do IMO
I agree, SLR Originals and SLR is still great and I love how passthrough is evolving and all that but we definitely had more top tier content and more scene releases in general in the past. Especially noticeable in the fewer stand out scenes and scenes with more than 2 girls. Still, as I gather, SLR is going through a bit of a transition lately so I bet it will get back to that pretty soon. I have faith
doublevr oh man i still have hopes for the implementation of minor special effects and succubus/demon/cosplay scenes . if you had a succubus series ever planned, definitely keep me in mind 
as i am filled with some hot fucked up scenario ideas pertaining to succubus and even cosplay for anime
Manny_S what i had seen before was over at VRcosplay years ago when they booked Violet Myers, they polled which cosplay scene idea to put her in instead of which actress to book for one scene idea. that way you book the actress and just worry about what idea to put her in. That way worked well too
Manny_S I don't think voting is that great of an idea, there is only a handful of users that browse the forum and most of them like the Nash style no tits no ass kind.
For casting the best suggestion is having a diverse selection of women that covers the tastes of the user base.
You used to have this with Mack taking care off the girls that Nash typically wouldn't cast.
Manny_S I've made storyline and new scene "tricks" suggestions before but they're never done. Don't blame lack of creativity on "everything has been done before" lol.
Where are the VR cheating scenes where your wife/girlfriend are talking to you on the phone in your ear while the model fucks you? Either rambling about normal stuff, or phone sex
Where are the scenes where your son's prom date fucks you instead while he's running errands with mom
Where are the scenes where your wife left you for a woman and you end up fucking her new wife for revenge?

@doublevr Exactly. I'm glad the production team sees it the same way, and I hope you do too. These scenes are the type of content that Alex Nash does so well. We need more of it, more frequently. Particularly BGGG, and other "epic" scenes that include curvy stars as well.

I agree with this as well. Voting is nice for the active forum users and it is important to reward that loyal fanbase (customer satisfaction is key), but it doesn't cover all the demos. I would love to see more variety.
g2kbuffetboy speak for yourself, I myself think there are way too many threesomes on SLR Originals. I respect the fact you prefer threesomes but you can be sure I'll be out if it's the standard here.
And before you tell me that because these top scenes are threesomes THEN the majority of SLR subscribers want threesomes.. well let me answer you one thing: you cannot know. Maybe the majority of SLR subscribers just want properly shot scenes (Nash) with great casting (in these 2 scenes) and individual scenes with each performers would have performed better.
Who knows right? Same reason why it's hard to know if the actual likes of PT scenes are actually worthy for stats measurement (and that was one of your argument, which I agree with
