tmynx I think something to realize too is that MILF doesn't always mean old (at least to me). Sometimes it's more of a look than an age. I've seen some pornstars that are in their mid to late 20s that have a MILF look, so I think it's more that in some ways. I personally really like women who have an exotic/piercing look to them.

Anyway he said he back then he was unsure if the people asking for younger models weren't just a loud mouthed minority. Obviously they have changed tune since back then as milfs/matures is on the back-burner these days but why? It could be a lack of demand issue of course.

Personally though I believe the decline in milfs/matures in mainstream porn has nothing to do with a lack of demand. No I believe as stated earlier what a 'claimed' representative in the industry stated - high quality milfs/matures simply get locked into exclusive contracts or they are too expensive because they found find better paying pastures that didn't exist when sites like NA came to prominents - Onlyfans, ManyVids, livestream, etc. That simply results in a market were milfs/matures are getting harder and harder to hire which VirtualTaboo stated some years ago.

I fully admit I could be wrong but given milfs/matures dominate search results and watch list free porn sites release yearly I just find it rather hard to believe VR porn is somehow different in demand.

    Most sucessful premium VR websites are based on teens and younger models and built their success from this, if milfs and older models were so in demand as appears to be the case with all the vapid feedback in this thread, then why don't these high end premium sites create a milf only website to cater to their needs, but instead they try hijacking sites that built their foundation around teens etc and try to tell them what works for them.

    As usual it's the diversity mob that want to hijack the success of a company and infect it with their insipid ideals instead of being creative and launching their own company to cater to their tastes.

    SLR has a good balance as it's not a 'dedicated site' at the end of the day they only have control of SLR originals and if that goes out of balance then we complain simple as that.

          I didn't say the didn't never had regular pornstars. I stated NA's brand was primarily build on milfs/matures (not solely) and that milfs/matures was what primarily (not solely) brought them to prominence back in the early 2010s. When they entered VR back in 2016 their focus was on milfs/matures sprinkled with regular younger pornstars scenes.

          That focus caused a uproar on Reddit and seceral commets not unlike the following; Where's the younger models - too many old hags! - which literally made NA's representative Scott (back then) state: 'it's like people don't know NA's focus has always been heavily on milfs/matures' - I'm paraphrasing as I can't remember the quote word for word.

          Over the years NA changed focus on a broader mix in VR till where it is today, where milfs/matures are more rare and instead the majority of the scenes are literally regular cookie cut pornstars which is not the focus NA used to have.

              This, exactly. Perhaps the problem is with what "MILF" has evolved into. Like the above poster said, the thing that comes to my mind when someone says "MILF" is an aging pornstar, who having seen her booking decline, gets a pair of humungous bolt-ons, lip injections, butt injections, adds too much make-up, and then goes to NA to produce overly porn-y, old-school flat porn in flowy lingerie and 6 inch heels. It really reeks of desperation.

              I'd be fine with healthier, mature older women (Lauren Phillips, Penny Barber, Aiden Ashley, Krissy Lynn, etc) rather than washed up models who augment their bodies and go over the top for a last grasp at a payday - which is what we get a lot of the time.

              FWIW, I think it is the shitty quality, low number of releases, non-existent support, and over the top cheesy porn aesthetic that sunk NAVR, not the MILF/Teen debate. NAVR is a perfect example of thinking VR is just flat porn shot with a different camera.

                OliverDK Hmm... I don't have any content from NAVR from 2016, so I can't confirm. But perhaps they did focus on milfs in 2016. Either way, I still thought they were amazing back in 2019-2021. They were my favorite studio until the switch happened. I'd argue that they weren't focused on milfs at all during that time. But rather, they had a pretty good variety of women from all age ranges.

                    obilisk2450 Yes, as I said in an earlier post; there was intense posts/discussions/arguments about NAVR on Reddit because NA had a tendency to release in 'batches' - meaning for a period (months) all scenes was milfs/matures and then they switched to all scenes was regular pornstars. They should have mixed them more because the milf/mature 'batch' always caused an uproar from the people on Reddit that preferred younger models. I wouldn't be surprised that what you perceived as a shift in focus to milfs, was just a prolonged 'batch' of milfs.

                    In any case if you dig younger models and you can accept Kyle Mason and Dan Damage as the male talent, NAVR might be more to your liking in it's current form as milfs/matures are far less prominent, while younger pornstars are more in focus.

                          this was already addressed earlier in this thread. it's an issue of funding. Milfs tend to be bigger names. Also debatable whether or not SLR is a teen centric site, and even if it was, times change and they have more users to cater to now.

                          Again, I'm all for variety when it comes to casting even if I don't like it, but some of you aren't arguing in good faith.

Because there are so many points of potential mismatch between the model and the PT environment, PT is VERY hit or miss when it comes to believable quality or immersion, and it misses most of the time. That's why replacing the whole visual field in normal VR tricks the visual system much easier.

                                      I can't speak to the mind of SLR but were you around in the old VR days? That time we had belly button cameras, moaning men, dead limps actors, scale that was way off, no eye contact, looking at directors, no close-ups, bend neck syndrome and I could go on.

                                      Listen I'm no fan of AR porn in it's current form. It has potential imo but the fact remains tgat the high quality VR scenes we have today came about as a consequence of a hardcore group of dedicated fans that offered constructive criticism and suggestions for years on the subreddit OculusNSFW when most studios were actually active there besides just advertising their scenes.

                                      It took the better part of 2-3 years to get it all dialed it. AR porn is likely no different. I'm sure that there are dedicated fans that'll help get it better but I have no illusions that it will be great before all issues gets dialed in, ideas get implemented, etc.

                                      And if the journey we had with VR is anything to go by that will undoubtful take time. Then there's a fair argument to be had if it's reasonable people should pay for that if they initially just signed up for VR.

                                          I had a Pimax 8kx (hands down way better than Quest 3, the FOV is unmatchable) before it broke. I couldn't watch PT so it was a complete waste of scenes for me. After the Pimax broke I got the old Quest 2 out and was excited to try PT because of some people saying how great it is. Then I bought a Quest 3 ( waiting on Pimax 12kx, fingers crossed that it does come out)

                                          My conclusion is that it is ok, I don't love it like a really good Nash scene.
                                          Since so many people make assumptions about PT, I'm going to assume that people that like it so much are young guys that haven't really had very many girls walk into their bedroom IRL. If you haven't had sex or a lot of sex in your own bed then PT might really be amazing to you. I'm no sex god but watching the same thing over and over in my bedroom get pretty boring really quick.
