spanker player settings, look for pitch, point on it, press trigger, press up on the joy stick and click on the green check, after that you should get a pop up says change to new settings, click accept.
I'm on quest 3, changing the pitch to the joystick was the first thing I did. It works 
But lately I become of fan of the dome rotation with roll. Holding both triggers will move the video up and down, left and right.
And FYI I'm using the meta store deovr version on quest 3.

As the topic title about the thumbsticks issue says the problem is with the Steam version of DeoVR ! With meta store deovr version such problem never existed !

Hello - i did test the latest DeoVR steam version 13.12.3 and unfortunately there is no any change - the problem with the rebind of the Quest 3 thumbsticks is NOT FIXED ! When you go in DeoVR controls settings and try to rebind thumbsticks - for seome reason they are just not detected moving in any direction. Any other buttons of the controller can be rebinded without problem but not the thumbstick - they act like they are totally off .
Here is what i did try:
VirtualDesktop + Steam + SteamVR + DeoVR v13.12.3 (thumbsticks can NOT be rebinded)
Steam Link + Steam + SteamVR + DeoVR v13.12.3 (thumbsticks can NOT be rebinded)
VirtualDesktop + Steam + SteamVR + DeoVR v8.55 (thumbsticks can be rebinded and work fine)
Steam Link + Steam + SteamVR + DeoVR v8.55 (thumbsticks can be rebinded and work fine)
So the problem is definitely not in VirtualDesktop .

Couldn't you just buy SLR with all that money and get it fixed yourself use the dome rotation or dome rotation with roll functions until this is fixed? This is basically dragging the video with the controller to the position you want to have it, and with roll you can rotate in addition. Of course, only if the 2K per month bother you in any way

the drag pitch/roll thing was talked about elsewhere and makes me sick to my stomach....so there's that. i guess i would RATHER jerk off somewhere else than to blow a load and be sick for an hour or so while it wore off

Since previous or so update of DeoVR I'm not able to change settings such as zoom, height and slide, and I still have the same issue in latest update. 
Has anyrthing changed in DeoVR preventing me from changing such paramatrers? The rest of them do work... ¿?
Any help or advice?

shinobi1987 You might have to disable 6DOF in the settings on the right side. It was probably enabled by default after an update. When 6DOF is on you cannot zoom etc.
shinobi1987 as mentioned above, you need to disable 6DOF; which is enables by default in PT mode, then you will be able to change those settings

Deo is so slow in loading the second video I try to play. It freezes the app for almost a minute everytime. Plus now I can't seem to stream over 2880 without it buffering all the time. I was hoping maybe clearing this would somehow help.
