Timbama it honestly seems like you saw the passthrough comments in my post and ignored the rest of it. Let’s go through the reset though.
I’m not even sure what it means. It’s Alex Nash related though and, as I mentioned, I’m not a fan of his stuff, nothing to do with passthrough.
Like I said, it’s not great to hear that we’re getting less content and I’m not a fan of the two producers they are now going forward with. Again not passthrough related although one of their producers only shoots passthrough so, for the rest of us, we’re down to one guy who I don’t enjoy. He didn’t say “concentrating on longer high quality scenes rather than pumping out lots of mediocre ones” that’s all your interpretation. There’s going to be less content as he’s fired all of their other content providers, that is the sole reason. If anything the two content providers they have left will be under more pressure to churn out scenes as there’s no one else to share the load.
By far the biggest post and all about passthrough which I have no interest in. Includes moving their one non-passthrough producer into passthrough production, female POV etc. All mentioned in my post.
I don’t even know what that means. I’m sure we all want “improved” casting but we all probably have a completely different idea of what that means. I don’t have a huge issue with their casting as it is.
This feels like something to improve efficiency for them (especially for passthrough), nothing to get excited about for the consumer.
CGI backgrounds for passthrough, like I said no interest in this. It won’t work with their new “Alpha” passthrough content anyway. That’s why all the CG scenes so far are on older passthrough content.
Scenes will have basic scripts for story and some dialogue. That already happens on some scenes anyway. Nothing to get excited about for us.
Pretty vague stuff.
This is possibly something to excite people if it happens. The people who made that scene are long gone though.
I’m not sure where he said there’d be more high quality and longer scenes or better scenarios. There’s zero mention of scene length or better quality. They’re continuing to use the same two producers that they’ve been using so why would anything change?
As for better actress selection, like I said, that’s entirely subjective. Your idea of better is likely very different to mine which is probably very different to his.
The last time he did one of these types of posts about resetting, I was excited about it, didn’t complain at all. He talked about lots of producers, more content, more variety, default BGG anal scenes. None of it actually happened.
If it feels like I’m complaining a lot, it’s because I don’t enjoy their current content, getting on for half of which is now passthrough and likely more going forward. Hence I will probably not be re-subscribing when my current one runs out. Nothing in this reset addresses any of my issues or gets me excited.
