  • SLR Originals reset plan - Nov '23

  1. VRSpy CEO is called SLR Head of Production ⭐️
    We are going to have on set production oversight making sure things are done right. Alex Nash might produce for VRSpy with 3-6mo SLR exclusivity.
  2. Jumping back to 10-12 monthly releases before we figure things out. Keeping production with Alex Nash and Sense Media. Getting serious about comments and forum feedback.
  3. Passthrough production is going to be greatly improved with PT in mind following forum feedback. In player AI Passthrough demo is going to be released in coming weeks before we make it to the official release giving PT option for almost every video. Alex Nash is going to level up PT production. Female POV and BGG PT is coming. Further in-app passthrough improvements with upcoming 6DOF feature. Shooting all the PT videos in chroma costume.
  4. Greatly improving our casting logic.
  5. Optimizing post production workflow. Alpha channel rendering takes up to 3x times more effort compared to regular production. Releases will get out of regular schedule until the end of the year.
  6. Exploring next steps for background compostions. Getting Alex Nash on top of it 🔥
  7. Getting serious about scripts for every producer. Doesn't seem enough of interest to get these published for each scene.
  8. Exploring new concepts and trying out authentic producers. New cool locations to be added.
  9. Getting into two days Modern Relations series

    All sounds good. My only concern when it comes to female POV passthrough….please please please don’t waste this on really good and requested female performers. Or at the very least do two versions if at all possible. I’m all for opening things up to new demographics of viewers, but you guys have got to realize, and I’m sure you do, that’s it’s probably an incredibly small percentage of your viewers that would want this.

      The thing I see the most upvoted and requested in comments and forums for Passthrough is having less moving camera angles and positions. Hopefully this gets sent to SenseMedia and see what they do with it.

        @doublevr Are we still expecting the same in terms of diversity in body types as prior to the reset? Thinking of the scenes from CJ miles, Sinatra Monroe, Nia Bleu, Emma Magnolia etc

                  doublevr Unfortunately nothing about any of this excites me at all, quite the opposite. Not trolling here, just genuinely have zero interest in passthrough, seeing the script for the scenes, female POV or cgi backgrounds, I just want decent VR porn scenes with some variety. Cutting back production is not great to hear either. Not a fan of Alex Nash or Sense Media so focusing purely on them is a big concern. Plus moving Nash into passthrough as well as Sense Media suggests the lions share of new scenes will be passthrough as they’re your only two producers.

                  I’m sure some people will like this news, I can only assume the numbers must be telling you to go all in on passthrough but, if this is the direction of the site, I don’t think I’ll be renewing when my annual subscription runs out. That’s not me throwing a tantrum, there’s just no point paying for something which you do not enjoy. Not that one person cancelling makes any difference but you asked for feedback and there it is.

                      petermc I didn’t get the vibe that passthrough was going to be taking over completely, from this post. If that IS the case, yeah, I agree; I still think traditional non-PT has a place and should remain the primary form of SLR-exclusive content, and I’ll likely be passing on a resub if SLR becomes majority-PT… but again, I didn’t get that vibe from this post, personally

                          Some comments:
                          #2: If you are scaling down monthly releases (with two main producers), how often will we expect the longer "signature SLRO" scenes (90min+ full-package FFMs)?
                          #3: Similar to the previous point, currently 11/32 of the most recent scenes are PT, so approx 35%. Is this percentage going to change as part of the reset?
                          #4: Not sure what you mean here, but I am all for at least some casting/scenarios to be suggested by the userbase (a reminder again that Modern Relationship (at least the story) was fan suggested)
                          #8: Be more specific? What concepts are you thinking of? Stuff like found in JAV?. That would be cool.
                          #9: Excited for this. Let the fan base suggest some ideas.

                            For normal VR videos would request to add some more positions into the mix like standing mish,pronebone, spoon etc.

                            Check this Recent VRP Video, where it had some good positions but the camera and lighting work ruined it.
