RealcumberScripts changed the title to Passthrough AR + Haptic Sex Toy Tips for TRULY NEXT LEVEL Immersion! .

SchnuppiLilac - I haven't experimented much yet with dome rotation - but with having 'recenter' set under 'global' option, you dont really need anything else to adjust and you can just look right where you want it aligned - its much more intuitive this way imo

parsec Im surprised how much I actually much prefer more passthrough now with the Quest 3 as well
Powerblow support should be incoming very soon (sorry Im not able to provide a firm date)

RealcumberScripts Have you tried enabling the hand tracking? It will make your hand into a remote, so your hands will be part of the video. It's even more immersive, with so much potential, in my opinion.

Hoping we can get PT working with OSR2/SR6. I know SLR was planning to add wifi support once Tempest has the firmware supporting it which should make this possible. Anyone hear any updates about this?

bboy7895 yup just tried that the other day, yet another layer of very very cool immersion!
We just need to find a way to have the hands be able to reposition the video more easily when needed and for one handed use

Passthrough really highlights any flaws in camera position and scaling. I think directors need a more scientific approach to achieve precision in these areas, or it's a frustrating experience, constantly trying to get the image in the right place and distance. Cock should not appear to change position in the frame throughout the entire scene, IMHO.

I cannot upvote this comment enough. The bigger problem is that even with a consistent, scientific approach (which will never happen here since SLR has no top-down creative standards - they just give anyone a camera and send them out to shoot stuff), the directors have to shoot a product that will look correct in an infinite number of settings that people will project it into. Sure, you can use your player to change angles and zoom, but we all know how that warps the picture and adds to an already unrealistic and unimmersive expereience.

Passthrough is always going to be gimmicky nonsense that dumbs down what a true immersive VR experience should be. Otherwise, just change your name to 3Dporn.com and be done with it.

I don't know, here are examples of some of my Passthrough. I think it already looks pretty great. The most important thing is to cut them out of the background perfectly, including the hair. I have not really seen any good distance shots of them walking around in your room yet. Lighting would be cool but not that important for closer shots. The distance stuff is something that needs to be worked, the closer stuff is looking pretty good now.

        fallacy

Great video that mate, more passthrough please SLR !!!! (less creampies though)

        fallacy

That's amazing. How the heck did you do that? Which video did you use?

Is this something SLR could be doing on the videos on this website?

PT looks great on my Q3, but not THAT great.

One thing I don't like about these passthrough scenes is when then camera angle changes I need to move myself as well as the handy to accurately re-position myself for the videos. How about a scene where it's one angle only so that there is no interruption in the action.

light8081 YES! Either that, or I'd love to see some screens for a few seconds to tell me about the upcoming camera change. VRBangers used to have those:

I know they break flow and immersion a bit, but they are super helpful if you want to realign your whole setup.
