Fair, but if I'm supposed to believe that PT is going to reach its full potential with the Quest 3 and full color immersion, then chasing after people still using cardboard and cellphones doesn't make a lot of sense.

Interesting.. It will be fun to mess around with for a while, for sure, but I still think passthrough is a gimmick. It hasn't grown on me yet.
Believe the goal is to branch out into providing as many of the VR experiences as possible to 2d platforms, since there's a whole wide world of folks who might enjoy scripts/Passthrough/etc. using their mobile device or other non-VR devices.
Granted that both non-VR scripts and AR very much already exist in general, but haven't with SLR previously.
My colleague is correct, we try to unify the experience, so that all features are available on all platforms we are on, so passthrough in this case would not be headset exclusive, but you can also use it on your phone
SchnuppiLilac you can bring the background closer or make is more far away from you using your fingers (same as with any camera), the same goes for the "girl", check out video on 00:30

Will the AI Passthrough ever work on iOS?? It only works for full body SLR official PT videos.
