g2kbuffetboy Just for the record... the Lily/Jessica scene was not filmed by Nash/Redstar. It was a VRFanservice scene.

Damn, you're right and I'm wrong. I guess I have to apologize to Nash/Redstar although I agree that a lot of their scenes do have the same issue. Then more than one SLR studio is shooting stuff too closely, damn... 😞

Completely unrelated to any of the above: did SLR change the way that downloads function? The entire time I've been a member I've been able to easily throttle downloads through Chrome's Developer Tools. But now when I click on the download button, it temporarily opens up an additional new tab, which means that I can't throttle the download since it downloads from that new temporary tab.

CzechVR does this same thing, but at least with theirs I can manually copy the web address from the download button and paste it to a new tab to throttle it that way. Here that's not even an option, no web address linked to even copy.

What I'm saying is: am I seriously going to have to search around and find some 3rd party web downloader just to be able to throttle my downloads...?

Philip Kylie Quinn and Honey Hayes

More Honey Hayes can only be a good thing. I didn't really like her last scene all that much, can't actually remember why. Might have been lack of close-ups/eye contact.

Philip You can criticize website, app, our service but you absolutely will not be tolerated calling our performers names, I hope that's clear.

Also great news imo. How hard is it to have an opinion without being a dick about it?

Docotto Ok, I'll admit that the phrase that I used to describe her new looks was out of line and uncalled for. I even thought for a second that I went too far before hitting send and for that I would like to sincerely appologise.
But it is hard for me to believe that she made all of those decisions on her own when to this day a lot of studios require their models to do breast implants or if they don't push it contractually they strongly insist on it.
I can imagine that she decided to do the permanent eyebrows on her own because its very popular lately (i don't like this look and I have been selfish with my opinion in this regard).
Also please don't tell me that studio and director has no say about the models makeup before the shoot because that's just silly.

It just pains me deeply that a lot of young beautiful girls are pushed to those (IMO) bad decisions (in many cases by the studios (and to stop some incoming comments I want to underline that I am not saying SLR is working like that because they are clearly not) )

Once again. For everyone involved. I am sorry for the cruel words that I used in my previous post.

highkiller I agree with your opinion that her new look is a big downgrade but this part of your post is almost completely nonsense:

Studios don't force or coerce girls into getting implants, tattoos, injections, or anything else of that nature. They are decisions made entirely by the girls themselves. What you need to realize is that all of these porn girls practically live on social/media platforms like Twitter, Instagram and OnlyFans, where they are constantly comparing themselves to other girls. They are heavily influenced by what they see other girls doing, comments made by fans, and so on. Many of them eventually feel a pressure to look a certain way and develop mental health conditions like body dysmorphia disorder where they genuinely believe that they have body flaws that need to be improved and that leads them to attempt to upgrade their body.

Another contributing factor is that many of these girls are young and naive and/or not very intelligent to begin with, and as a consequence they just generally don't make good decisions.

blaze466 I don't want to have a debate because that's not what this thread is about but a couple of quick points:

    • April Olsen is not a vet. She's relatively new to the world of professional porn.
    • A degree is not a good measuring stick for intelligence. An undergraduate degree is little more than a piece of paper you get for memorizing some things from a textbox and some lectures. The threshold for passing is set low enough that anyone who isn't completely hopeless can pass.

blaze466 Many girls have fake tits. My wife has them. Many girls I know have them. Many girls you don't realize have them because you've never seen their tits before.

That's a very selective perspective. In my inner and outer vicinity nobody (yes, nobody) has fake tits. In my family nobody has fake tits. None of my friends or aquaintances has fake tits. In my company, nobody has fake tits. In my university courses back then nobody had fake tits. And the list goes on and on...

It might be a common thing in the place you live and the environment you live. But it's definitely not the norm or even a common thing everywhere. That's why people proably react very differently to the topic. For some people it seems to be just "normal" and culturally accepted. For different people in different cultures it's rather not, it's probably the very rare exception and not part of a widely accepted ideal of beauty.

[deleted] Do you actually read what other people write and do you even try to understand their posts? Picking out single words without any context only to be able to point with the finger at sb is pretty pointless and not constructive in any way. So please stop addressing me until you actually want to talk about it in a civilzed manner...

And by the way, it's perfectly ok for me if somebody thinks that my haircut was ugly. That's a perfectly normal opinion to have since no haircut pleases everybody. And yes, it's my choice indeed to get myself any haircut that I want. Nobody here questioned that a single bit. But every choice has consequences and in a free world with free speech people are free to have their own opinion on other people's choices. So people are free to evaluate my haircut. I indeed don't expect strangers to tell me how they think about it (I guess they wouldn't care anyway) but it wouldn't be a big deal. And if - by any chance - I dedided to put photographs with said haircut on the internet asking people to pay money for it I would indeed expect(!) that not everybody likes it. That's just part of the deal and there's absolutely nothing about it. If I wouldn't want other people to talk about my haircut I simply wouldn't put photographs of it on the internet and ask for money for people to see said haircut in even more detail. This whole discussion is so ridiculous imho but ok, I guess some people have to get upset about stuff just for the sake of it...

FreyaSLR 'Take Your Pick: Part 2' is ready and waiting for you guys!

n4meless8 My harem brothers, the wait is over! Get ready to shoot a MASSIVE load! 💣

Downloading it now! It's going to take me a while to digest this one. I am SO excited! Been trying not to think about it all week but it's finally here!

Kay Lovely has been waiting to feel the ideal unfrozen male specimen.

But it's totally "Worth The Wait" being in cryostasis for a thousand years. Because she's going to unfreeze you by smiling at you, and extract your creampie using her cute glasses and lovely body for her scientific experiments. 🌎👩‍🚀💦

      n4meless8
Hm, Kay is super hot, like breathtakingly hot (seriously, this woman is a BANGER!) but I really thought (and hoped) that SLR had left the days of mood lighting for good. This is kind of a fall back in darker times... 🙄

I mean, lighting doesn't need to be clinically white for every scene but at least you shouldn't cast shadows on the important parts. Shadows on the female body are imho always pretty bad in a VR scene and shadows on the pussy/penetration are even worse. I mean I want to marvel at bodies like this and I want to see how the pussy gets penetrated in all possible detail and that's kind of an unwanted obstacle. I guess this scene was shot by @vrfanservice? So please don't be mad at me and take it as honest feedback from a fan: the whole scene is great, I mean I love Kay, I love the overall setting, the outfit and everything but the lighting is again simply too dark and especially the shadows simply interfere here. Some exmpales:

To end this post on a good notice: the creampie is really epic, what a sight! 😍

I think the Kay Lovely scene is very lovely indeed. Can’t say I noticed the lighting issues from my headset. Yes the opening minutes setting up the storyline was a little dark, but that was par to the setup. Once we moved to actual sex, I found the atmosphere to be warm and Kay a sight to behold. Same went for the River Lynn scene where I recall similar critique. I’m using a simple Oculus Go though so maybe it is a problem at the higher resolutions and I’m just unaware. Very happy with this scene. Keep up the awesome content SLR!

Yeah, same for me. I loved the overall atmosphere in both scenes. Nice and warm. Kay Lovely and River Lynn are just so lovely. 😍😍😍

LordCrash but I really thought (and hoped) that SLR had left the days of mood lighting for good. This is kind of a fall back in darker times...

First of all, I appreciate and love what @vrfanservice did in Kay Lovely's scene. (Thank you, SLR Originals! I can't wait for Kay Lovely + April Snow!) The shadows you pointed out, I didn't really find it an issue for me. (Me, @g2kbuffetboy and I'm sure many others really enjoyed "The Witcher XXX Parody" they did back in 2020. Even though for to most part It's even darker than "Worth the Wait".) I think it's ok to do these from time to time so they can please more wide range of audience. But if they decide to move away from darker scenes completely, I dont think they should stop using mood Iighting because that's basically limiting their creativity. (I mean, you said it yourself.) 👇

LordCrash I mean, lighting doesn't need to be clinically white for every scene but at least you shouldn't cast shadows on the important parts.

Here are some few examples of Mood Lightings:

(The purpose of Mood Lighting is to create an atmosphere, and capture a certain mood and feeling within any room or environment.) 👇

          • Let's say you're in a well-lit kitchen, and there's an LED strip light under the table. It doesn't matter what color it is or how strong it is, that can be still be Mood Lighting.
          • Even small and weak candle lights in a scene are considered mood lighting. (Give the Devil his Due)
          • Christmas Lights are also Mood lighting; The right colors and arrangements of different objects/props within a scene, mixed with different lights are all working together to create pleasing visuals for the viewer's eyes.
          • Watching rainy afternoon outdoor scene in a film with no other lightings; The lack of light can also be called mood lighting. But in that case, the Director or Cinematographer was using the "natural grey sky light" to capture the "Mood" that he or she was going for. (You can't get the perfect weather all the time. That's why there's a color grading process to improve the visuals.)
          • The sun. Yes, even the sun... (Ripped Tights 2)
          • I understand what you meant because I know when people refer to Mood Lighting they usually mean darker scenes with Artificial light(s). (But the "Private Dance with Haley Spades" was amazing, right?)

Different types of light sources can change the overall vibe of any scenes. So I would be sad if they stop using Mood Lighting, because SLR Originals is filled with creative people and creative scenes. And I personally think that this is one of the key things that separates their movies from other studios.
