  • 2023 end of the year SLR App roadmap

We plan to introduce a number of features in the current sprint.

Most of the features have to be unified throughout multiple channels we work with.
Unity:

  • native SLR app
  • smartphone app with unified code
    WebXR:
  • smartphone & desktop web (we really want to separate UI for the two)
  • Meta browser VR experience

SLR app is priority as it provides the best experience possible integrating multiple technologies and features. Haptics Connect smartphone video app will be released on a new code base greatly improving watching videos on smartphone experience (November). It's really important that we are working on a Region of Interest tracking so you always see a girl on your screen at the very best angle. I'm doing it manually on the video. Player will track it automatically for you always giving you the best viewing angle.

Those are features we are working on:

  • Quest 3 support ASAP after release
  • Backend refactoring for faster app response and faster loading UI and content
  • Bluetooth integration with Kiiroo and other sex toys that won't require Haptics Connect any more (Nov)
  • Launch any video in the app from your smartphone on desktop (Control My Headset). Great way for cross platform experience.
  • Refactoring 6DOF feature to make it greatly improved and connect with Passthrough.
  • Custom background for passthrough scenes (late Sept). Ultimately we are looking to make every video PT like you have it with Zoom and Meet background bluring
  • Build Your Own Journey (October). Can't wait for smartphone release.
  • Lobby chitchat UI just to have fun with other SLR app users (1,000 at every single time)
  • Autofocus
  • Live streaming haptics (Control my sex toy) for multiuser

We start creating public documentation. It should greatly improve understanding of things.
Ultimately we are looking to have seamless sex toys support with native app, smaprthone app and web browser. The same for BYOJ and other features.

Later on we plan to introduce full scale multiuser. Also I would really love to port https://f95zone.to/sam/latest_alpha/ demos into the app. Not idea how to touch it.

    doublevr Any chance you guys will have SMB support like you mentioned here doublevr ?

    Would be nice to have, not only to stream local video, but also if any local funscript files could be stored in a customizable network location rather than tether and upload to a headset Interactive folder.

          doublevr Can I just ask a question please...Ive always used the dedicated SLR app over DeoVR on my Quest 2 but decently I heard it was being discontinued, I asked on here if that was true and I think it was your mod's Sandi that confirmed yes its being discontinued but now I see you saying 'SLR app is priority as it provides the best experience possible integrating multiple technologies and features' so can I just ask if this is true why is it being discontinued please?

          I have pretty decent internet, around 75mb and Ive never had any issued streaming any video in it highest quality using the SLR app but for the last 2 weeks since hearing its being discontinued ive been using DeoVR and while not all the time I do suffer issues where the video stops playing and I have to hit pause then play again to get it playing again, I really would rather use the dedicated app, please tell me there has been a U-turn and you are planning to continue supporting it!

              doublevr Please allow us to easily disable autofocus. I can’t stand it on Heresphere.

                  This is a huge mistake. If every video is grey pajama boy with a cheesy CGI background, you'll lose the overwhelming majority of your subs.

                  People are going to be very disappointed when they find out that the color PT on the Quest 3 isn't very special.

                      xxxscottyxxx right. we figured out it's much easier for everyone to have SLR experience within Deo. you should be all good using Deo for SLR app experience

                        I’m confused, are you discontinuing the app or making it a priority?

                        Also making every scene passthrough would be the end of my subscription even if I’m mainly here for the aggregated content from all studios. I would cancel on principle, there are other “Netflix” style sites.

                        I don’t care how good the technology gets, I don’t want to just fuck girls in my own bedroom. Porn is supposed to be fantasy, not grim reality.

                          petermc I think he means that all future PT scenes will have CGI backgrounds available, not that all future scenes will be PT

                              petermc App is an ultimate priority and it will work within DeoVR browser.

                                Soooo excited to finally get the custom background option!!!!!!!!!!! Time to start going out and taking VR pictures of real world locations for this!!!!!!

                                imratore there might be good chances adding SMB support and boosting DLNA as DeoVR plans to add these features behind a DeoVR paywall

                                    doublevr Wow, that might make things very interesting. Might actually make it worth getting these 12K scenes. If only they had better casting on their 2 12k scenes, so far I am not a fan of either girl, which is sad because they usually have awesome casting on all their other scenes.

                                    I dont know why they decided to make those casting decisions on their two first 12k scenes. I get that some people may love those girls, but they could have really gone with almost any of their other smoking hot talent. Maybe I'm just petty but that really turned me off from the whole 12k hype when I saw their choices. 😅
