Should we enable videos and scripts uploads on SexLikeReal?
dango789 that's the plan ️
along with https://forum.sexlikereal.com/d/5566-should-we-enable-videos-and-scripts-uploads-on-sexlikereal/
so you can have both your videos uploaded and scripts
thatoculusdude Speaking of chickening out: What would you be willing to pay on top of your regular subscription for 8 TB of cloud storage?

SchnuppiLilac It shouldn't be that expensive, they have a big network
I have a 2TB SSD, which cost 120 EUR, it should offer much better value than that
How do you like these prices

doublevr I hate it, for 120 EUR a year I can by my own 2TB SSD every year, why would I use the cloud for the exact same price?
Streaming on DeoVR is the best in the business, but still much worse than locally hosted videos. Also I would lose access after the year paying 120 EUR where I get to keep my own storage....
Creative way to get videos from those studios that won't join the SLR content creator program onto SLR
Hairsational Once you upload a video we can generate a script for it as well or you can use your own one
doublevr Not a big fan of those prices. Also Dropbox their business-model revolves around storage so obviously they will maximise their margins there.
I feel since you guys have such a large network and can get good prices for cloud storage. I'm ok with paying for storage, just don't make it too crazy. We're already paying for the subscription for content, I'm ok with paying a bit extra to store my 4TB library in the cloud with you guys to ditch my XBVR + HereSphere setup. But again the prices need to be attractive and not Dropbox level of pricing imo
SchnuppiLilac anything. If SLR offers terabyte plans + reencoding for streaming + AI scripting for private uploads, I'd pay premium for it. I don't care.

Just to be clear, I don't need storage alone. I don't care about that TBH. I already have a NAS that I gladly use with HereSphere. The price per TB for both cloud and NAS is becoming cheaper and cheaper. But if this new service includes extra features like reencoding/streaming and AI scripting for my private library, here's my wallet. TAKE IT.

Having the option to upload our own videos for streaming, backing them up to the cloud, and being able to tag them and add them to our own personal folders in SLR, would be awesome! I'd gladly sign up for a subscription cloud service like this if it becomes available.
