Interesting idea for sure! Does that mean we'll be able to upload videos we download from places like VirtualTaboo and CzechVR and scripts from Eroscripts? If so, will we need to pay additional for cloud storage?

dango789 that’s exactly the plan.
Some few videos can be included with monthly sub. Then there will be upgrade option if you want to have dozens of videos.

Storage and processing costs are relatively low for us. Should give you guys some really great option

doublevr I'd be extremely interested. Personally, I find it much more convenient to have everything available to stream.

Currently, if I want to watch videos from other studios, I have to constantly switch back and forth across many different portable hard drives. I find it much easier to stream, even if it means I don't get the absolute optimum video quality.

I guess it's like Netflix vs Blu-ray movies. Some people value the convenience of streaming, while those who want the absolute best video quality will stick to blu-ray.

Will SLR re-encode uploaded videos to some disappointingly low quality level or leave them untouched?

Hairsational all the videos have to be encoded for streaming. We have “highest quality” setting on for these to preserve the quality to the highest degree

doublevr I would really like to upload "universal" script like scripts from stacyQ videos. Those are perfect for scriptless videos

Yes! But, please, don't chicken out with storage. I have 7.90 TB of VR vids and I'd love to have them all (or most of them) stored in the cloud and readily available for streaming ❤️

I have a 2TB SSD, which cost 120 EUR, it should offer much better value than that

SchnuppiLilac anything. If SLR offers terabyte plans + reencoding for streaming + AI scripting for private uploads, I'd pay premium for it. I don't care.

Streaming on DeoVR is the best in the business, but still much worse than locally hosted videos. Also I would lose access after the year paying 120 EUR where I get to keep my own storage....

doublevr Not a big fan of those prices. Also Dropbox their business-model revolves around storage so obviously they will maximise their margins there.

I feel since you guys have such a large network and can get good prices for cloud storage. I'm ok with paying for storage, just don't make it too crazy. We're already paying for the subscription for content, I'm ok with paying a bit extra to store my 4TB library in the cloud with you guys to ditch my XBVR + HereSphere setup. But again the prices need to be attractive and not Dropbox level of pricing imo

doublevr For me personally, it’d have to be significantly cheaper than that.

I already have the videos on my hard drives and I can’t justify paying that much extra for a bit of convenience.
