Interesting idea for sure! Does that mean we'll be able to upload videos we download from places like VirtualTaboo and CzechVR and scripts from Eroscripts? If so, will we need to pay additional for cloud storage?

@"dango789"#p56159 that’s exactly the plan. Some few videos can be included with monthly sub. Then there will be upgrade option if you want to have dozens of videos. Storage and processing costs are relatively low for us. Should give you guys some really great option

Will SLR re-encode uploaded videos to some disappointingly low quality level or leave them untouched?

@"Hairsational"#p56174 all the videos have to be encoded for streaming. We have “highest quality” setting on for these to preserve the quality to the highest degree

@"doublevr"#p56161 I'd be extremely interested. Personally, I find it much more convenient to have everything available to stream. Currently, if I want to watch videos from other studios, I have to constantly switch back and forth across many different portable hard drives. I find it much easier to stream, even if it means I don't get the absolute optimum video quality. I guess it's like Netflix vs Blu-ray movies. Some people value the convenience of streaming, while those who want the absolute best video quality will stick to blu-ray.

Yes! But, please, don't chicken out with storage. I have 7.90 TB of VR vids and I'd love to have them all (or most of them) stored in the cloud and readily available for streaming ❤️

SchnuppiLilac anything. If SLR offers terabyte plans + reencoding for streaming + AI scripting for private uploads, I'd pay premium for it. I don't care.

Just to be clear, I don't need storage alone. I don't care about that TBH. I already have a NAS that I gladly use with HereSphere. The price per TB for both cloud and NAS is becoming cheaper and cheaper. But if this new service includes extra features like reencoding/streaming and AI scripting for my private library, here's my wallet. TAKE IT.

I already have the videos on my hard drives and I can’t justify paying that much extra for a bit of convenience.

Having the option to upload our own videos for streaming, backing them up to the cloud, and being able to tag them and add them to our own personal folders in SLR, would be awesome! I'd gladly sign up for a subscription cloud service like this if it becomes available.
