LordCrash People like DoubleVR are like those old Skyrim gamers who felt like they reached the pinnacle of gaming with that "be yourself and do everything you want" style of game,
And they troll and belittle others for not wanting to play that way, too. It feels like a bunch of edgy teens playing CounterStrike in here some days - or WoW players who want to raid vs. WoW players who want to PvP: they both act like the other group is playing the game wrong.
LordCrash not realizing that it's something other people are not interested in at all.
Exactly. So many commenters seem to think that people who don't like PT just haven't tried it. It's like they can't concieve of someone not liking what they like. And yes, I can conceive of someone not liking VR, but then again - if that is the case, maybe you shouldn't have subbed to a site that is 95% VR and then advocate for it to accomodate your non-VR tastes (or take a site you own and turn it into a PT site even though you sold lifetime subs on a completely different premise).
LordCrash it's not "the next big thing" or "the natural evolution of gaming", it's just something for a particular group of people who enjoy these kind of games.
This probably annoys me the most - the constant drumbeat of "better get used to it, this is all there will be soon". Just because this brach of reality manipulation is what you like doesn't mean all the others are now invalid or obsolete.
