doublevr I know we all talk a load of hyperbole and bullshit at times but I am dead serious when I say that, if you hire this guy (who has been accused of abuse by multiple women in the industry and lost his job because of it), I will be cancelling my membership and never returning. How can you even consider stooping this low to even consider using this creep. I thought you were all about sexual wellness?

    petermc You pick out stuff you don't like about his scenes and that's ok. I'm not the biggest friend of the distance in cowgirls in a lot of his scenes either. I never said that his scenes were perfect, they are actually far from it. But his magic scenes contain a lot more content than air kisses and close-up cowgirl. I'd say kisses and close-up cowgirl make up like 5-10% of his scenes, so that's definitely not the whole picture. He has a really special way to direct threesomes and foursomes in particular with a lot of amazing GG interaction and a lot of amazing action-to-action storytelling. He's also often capable to motivate the girls to do their best in threesomes and foursomes. That's where the real magic is to be found imho. But maybe multi-girl scenes are not something you're particularly interested in, so this might explain why you don't value his work as much as others do, like myself. People have different expectations and fetishes etc. and so you simply can't please everyone.

        LordCrash Yeah, I’m not against multi-girl scenes, I enjoy many of them, but they’re not something I crave, I’m definitely more drawn to one on one scenes. There are exceptions though. One of which probably was a Nash scene I think. It was a taboo scene with Kiara Cole and Slimthick Vic. It was a little too long but very hot, lots of taboo talk, lots of interplay between them, lots of one girl whispering in your ear while you’re fucking the other one. It was a hot scene and the two girls performances got me past some of the issues I have with his directing.

        Like I said, taste is subjective but I just find his scenes a bit lifeless and unexciting and I don’t like the camera angles he uses. The scenes may be intimate but they’re not passionate, there’s no intensity. It also really feels like he wants to shoot the whole scene in cowgirl positions and shoots missionary and doggy style just because it’s expected. They then just get tacked on for 5 minutes at the end to tick a box and there’s no care that goes into them.

        Like I said though, it seems like a lot of people think he’s untouchable as the king of VR so he’s obviously doing something right for those people, just not for me unfortunately.

          doublevr I'm a fan of SLR so I haven't posted in this thread — but I'm really hoping you guys don't work with him. Even if you do things right on your end, it looks terrible and seems risky

          How about working with Leana Lovings? Seems like she's already directed some vr scenes in the past that were received well 🙂

              LordCrash I’m not especially a fan of Alex Mack either. I just think he’s done a couple of decent looking scenes recently so am hoping he’s getting better. Not mind blowing but decent. Danielle Renae got pounded pretty hard at times (by VR standards!), did some squirting, some great deepthroating. She looked like a classic pornstar from the Wicked/Vivid era which I enjoyed seeing for a change. He has Stephanie Love coming up to who I like as she’s pretty wild but she’s another Milf with fake tits and, even worse (for some) tattoos! Don’t talk to me about NA, they are awful at VR.

              I’m not against seeing your Layla Jenner’s and your Molly Little’s etc. They’re pretty girls but I like some variety so I want to see some bombshells too. Alex Mack is giving me that at present and his scenes lean a bit more towards PSE than GFE which is probably more often what I’m looking for.

                    I never said that SLR was only about ultra tiny teens. There were girls like ACC, Luna Belle, Maddy May, etc. on SLR with different body types etc. But only very rarely these "classic pornstars of the Vivid era" kind of models. Besides the PT stuff that's imho the biggest obvious change on SLRO recently. I guess SLR thought that there is a market for these models that isn't already satisfied by NA which is totally fine. But this isn't an addition to the existing content, it's a substitution for it. We don't get simply "more of everything", we get less and less VR content in the way and style we used to get on SLR.

                            I basically only know about the Emma Hix case, incl. one pathetic attempt to prove that the accusations were unfounded. But after less than one minute today on his Twitter, it seems this is the message he's trying to send.

                                LordCrash I think I just come at VR porn from a different angle to a lot of (or at least the more vocal) VR fans. I was already a big fan of 2d porn, I watched a lot of it, probably an unhealthy amount!

                                When I used to think about VR porn (but could never afford it pre-Quest 2) I used to dream about it feeling like I’m in the porno that I’m watching. That could be the most hardcore gonzo stuff to classic 90’s/00’s Jenna Jameson style porn.

                                Basically then I’m looking for the VR porn experience to be me in a porn movie fucking pornstars like pornstars fuck. Deepthroat blowjobs, anal sex, hard fucking, filthy dirty talk etc. Whereas others (and I’m not necessarily including you in this) seem to want the VR experience to be them imagining that this is their real girlfriend. They don’t want her to be too slutty or too much like a porn performer, they want a pretend girlfriend. That is why passthrough (even in it’s current primitive form) is so amazing to these people and why it’s the holy grail for some to get it right because what could be more convincing to sell that girlfriend fantasy than to have the girl in your own bedroom on your own bed?

                                None of this means that I don’t enjoy any of the VR porn that is made. I have TB’s of the stuff on hard drives and I do enjoy some of the more intimate scenes from time to time, that VRPlayful scene with Katy Rose being an example. I just want more other stuff to go along with it, more stuff that feels like the porn I used to watch but now in VR with me as the protagonist.

                                I’m sure someone will come up with the classic “It’s supposed to be called Sex Like REAL” so they don’t want a pornstar performance with tattoos and fake boobs etc. Like any of this is representative of the real life sex that most people have!

                                    SchnuppiLilac Alex Coal also had a traumatic experience with him which is why she has never shot for WankzVR since. I think they’ve now removed her scene. It was her bringing that experience publicly to light last year (the scene was years earlier and Wankz took no notice of her back then) that caused them to finally sack him.

                                    To hire a known abuser to direct scenes for his “sexual wellness” site would be a horrendously ill-judged move and would demonstrate that he has no regard for the models who work for his company and without whom this business does not exist. To even publicly admit that he’s having a conversation with him about the prospect of hiring him is just so depressing to hear.
