  • Alex Coal Calls Out Wankzvr Director

Wow, Alex Coal has just explained in a podcast interview what a horrible experience it was working for Jimmy at Wankzvr and why she’ll never shoot for them again. She’s linked the interview on her Twitter and also published a statement she sent to Wankzvr at the time which obviously didn’t concern them enough to fire him. This was shortly before the Emma Hix, Emma Starletto incident that he admitted to and apologised for.

If the allegations are true, he sounds like a real unprofessional creepy asshole. Alex Coal has never come across as anything but totally cool and professional so I tend to believe her.

This isn't over, Alex is going all in now...

➡️ Full statement ⬅️

Just read this for yourself. That's not how professional porn should be made. That's simply inappropriate and abusive and should be properly sanctioned. That it obviously wasn't sanctioned at all is just fucking sad.

My full statement written right after Jimmy attacked me on set. Written to give to the WankzVR lawyer. Nothing was ever done. He's still working, still directing, and over 100 of my mutuals follow him and WankzVR right now.

LordCrash yeah, I did include that in my post but it’s cool to highlight it further. To hear her describe it in the podcast is even worse than the written statement. It’s sad that these incredible women get disrespected like this and the guy just carries on because he’s friends with the owners. I think we are now getting to know why some of the big pornstars don’t work with them.

Well, that sucks big time. It was just about two weeks ago that I gave these douchey twit bags my money and purchased a membership. I wish I had not. Won't do it again.

    Here's the entire written statement:

Fits right in with similar unacceptable behavior he was called out for around the same period, and his unprofessional demeanor had always been pretty obvious whenever he inserted himself into scenes. This story following the scandal with Emma Hix lists a number of performers that corroborate similar behavior that crossed acceptable boundaries, Aidra, Elena K., Jane W., Vanna B. 😔

WankzVR has never really recovered from that mess. It’s a pity because creatively speaking, they had some very, very good content back then and I can’t remember the last time I’ve given one of theirs (or POVR’s) scenes a watch beyond the first minute — it’s in my opinion all just formulaic stodge over there now. I’m happy Alex has spoken out — sure she shoots porn, gets grabbed, groped, and fucked for a living, but an environment that promotes safety, mutual consent, and respect is paramount to this business. Jimmy L. shouldn’t be a part of it any longer. I hope Wankz does something about it this time.

argyle43 I can’t remember the last time I’ve given one of theirs (or POVR’s) scenes a watch beyond the first minute — it’s all just formulaic stodge over there now.

You haven't seen any scene for more than a minute in the last couple of months but you know that it's all a complete formulaic stodge nevertheless? Ok, dude...

Well, I've seen a lot of their scenes or better pretty much all of them and that's definitely not true, especially not for most of Jimmy's scenes. He's probably a predatory asshole but he does know how to shoot VR porn pretty well.

argyle43 I don’t think he’s saying you can’t have an opinion, I think his point was that, if you haven’t watched any of their scenes beyond the first minute, how have you formed that opinion? How are you judging stuff that you haven’t watched as being formulaic stodge?

I tend to agree with LC that they make some decent quality VR but that shouldn’t save you if you behave like this in the workplace. I hope, like you, that something is done as it now feels a bit icky paying for their stuff.

I am really really glad that the stars are prepared to call these assholes out.
I want to pay money for something which is fully consented, legal, positive and something which the stars are happy with

I hope Wankz sorts this out

petermc Wankz in my opinion used to be great. Wankz in my opinion has sucked for a good year and a half now. I think it’s largely due to Jimmygate 1.0; that and their management changed. In my opinion they can no longer cast to save their life. In my opinion the creativity there is a mere shell of what it once was in 2017-2019. You, LC, the freaking pope, can differ with that all you like. It’s also your opinion.

Here it is from another angle. The Wankz folder in my VR downloads library has 145 scenes (including Roll Call). Two of those from 2022. Five from 2021 that are net new (not a remaster). And of those seven scenes in a year and a half, I’ve gone back and looked at possibly two more than the initial watch. And yes, I do generally know within the first minute or two if I’m going to bother watching a scene through. It’s largely based on casting, premise/story, and execution. Wankz (for me) just doesn’t create content worth my time any longer; especially when compared to their catalogue up through about Halloween, 2019. But hey, I’m thrilled to death they still do for others (not that their own forum supports that premise much lately either).

argyle43 cool. Was just kinda confused by you saying, on the one hand, you don’t watch any of their scenes beyond the first minute and then, on the other hand, saying their scenes all suck. I get it a bit more now. Never meant to imply you aren’t entitled to your own opinion and I’m not some big Wankzvr defender either. I think they make lots of fairly average stuff but they are usually technically pretty good imo and nowhere near as formulaic as Badoinkvr.

They have a sort of happy medium for me in that the scenes look technically much better than SLRO (imo) and they shoot more anal content (who doesn’t?). SLRO probably has the better immersion and storylines though. The casting and look is probably not quite on the level of Badoink but they are nowhere near as formulaic and boring in terms of execution. They are kind of in the middle of Badoink and SLRO for me and that kind of suits me in that I get a pretty good looking scene with a pretty ok story rather than a really good story with bad visuals (SLRO) or really good visuals with a boring scene (Badoink).

It all depends what you’re looking for in a scene I suppose.

This is so incredibly fucked up. Wankz isn't getting another dime of my money, nor will I ever collaborate with them, until they clean house.

How can someone literally land most people's dream job and treat their coworkers like that??? Absolutely inexcusable.

So I’ve read some hints from posts on this as well the Wankz forum along the lines, why should we believe Alex, or that her written statement contains alleged statements. I totally believe her, and this much can be verified:

So, one part of her written statement that really creeped me out was she said the male talent was sent out of the room for the pussy closeup, and it was Jimmy who took over and had his hands all over her. Totally checks out. In the very opener stuntcock brings a blunt up to the camera a few times and you can see he has small slender hands with a little tatt on one of the left hand fingers. Later inside you can see it’s Jimmys fat hands and gross fingernails, and the expression on Alex’s face flashes signs of misgivings even though it’s clear she’s doing her very best to stay professional.

What a little scumbag. Makes you wonder how regularly he took advantage of those situations. I mean yes, the guy who does the perVRt content is equally gross, but he’s never really hidden that he established his studio to dip his own wick, he probably pays those models very, very well for the privilege to do so, and the girls have consented to whatever he produces ahead of time. Jimmy is a hired hand, and there are clear lines between talent and crew that are just not to be crossed. Very big difference. How many other girls are going to come forward with similar stories we’ve not yet heard I wonder?

I also think a lot of what was happening in those heady years between 2017 and end of 2019 was Jimmy and the crew were smoking a lot of weed and working at the same time. I’m positive that added in a lot of ways to the creativity of what was being produced, but very much (in their case) at the cost of professionalism on set. Aidra has mentioned many times that Jimmy was on her no list. Elena K. same thing. I remember now she played a small role at the very end of the 2017 Xmas special where she’s dressed up like a Victoria Secret Angel. It should be the highlight of the scene because she looks incredible, but I could never get off from it because she seems very upset and unhappy throughout the short segment. Makes a whole lot more sense now, and Jimmy was so very handsy in that scene. Blech 🤢

Finishing the thought, I’m pretty sure the new manager that took over from Phil put a stop to smoking and drinking on set. The scenes now are a lot more standardized, no more 60, 80, 120 minute creative standouts. Everything is roughly 45-48m, follows a pretty generic set of positions, and it just seems like all the fun has been removed. It’s a shame they weren’t able to strike a balance between creative license and on set professionalism. Happily SLR has filled that gap for me. Great casting, fantastic premises, and for my money well above average technical execution most of the time.

argyle43 I'm mostly with you, but I've worked with a lot of creatives who smoke weed on the job (myself included), and none of them have ever committed assault.

Sometimes a bad person is just a bad person.

Mutiny oh I’m not playing prude. Just pointing out I think that’s what was often going wrong with that crew.

argyle43 I hear you. I took your broader point to mean it seemed to be a set without rules or standards, which...clearly. Just want to make sure weed isn't the easy culprit for the much tougher conversation we need to have about dealing with toxic people (and our responsibility to protect others - especially, in this case, sex workers - from them).

All i can tell you production is hell of a job. You deal with all sorts of people in very sensitive environment. Everything can go wrong in a split of a second. I'm very proud of our producers being stand up and doing things nothing but professional ✊
If what reported is true it is really low of that producer and the company giving it a way.
