argyle43 you were requested to quantify your good number of people comment and you brought diddly squat to the table. I count 6 of your minuscule rabble.

LordCrash what a lot of us

semantics or hyperbole? there is no lot hahahahahaha. There are 6 of you.

Also if you don't think Sinata Monroe is drop dead gorgeous and hot as fuck there is clearly something wrong with you. She should be on the list for an exclusive contract.

LordCrash You might like that but that's not what we're used to have on SLR

I don't care why you subscribed or what you are used to lol. I like the direction SLR is going in right now. There is a lot of diversity and the women appeal to different tastes and also women are being shot in different formats.

One of your ragtag rabble @TakingFredoFishing insulted Jenna Starr on her scene - he has received 113 downvotes on his comment. So far you have one supporter of your #freeNash campaign hahahahahah. So when you folk say a lot of us, objectively it simply isn't true. Sorry to bust your bubble chap.

theHobbit There are 6 of you.

the problem is that all six of them got self-repetitive in regards with PT. They are not bringing any points to the table any more, just repeating the same mantra all the time.

Nor there is a point for debate:

    1. The number of likes tells it all.
    2. Just skip PT videos. SLR is content overdose, there are plenty of other great videos to watch.

Total waste of everyone's time. Just because someone on the forum says PT has no potential won't stop us further getting into it as demand is clearly huge. We just need a better passthrough. There's a big tech pipeline ahead for PT improvements. Now we need some directors with a good sense to make it really cool

doublevr Completely agree and fantastic news on the PT side of things.

There will come a time when all of this is just normal and it will be these folk who will never appreciate the pioneers like yourselves who pushed the boundaries with this tech.

I bet when the internet first started you found them telling others that it was just a fad and would never evolve to anything or that nobody would replace their books, music and dvd collections with kindles, streaming services like Spotify and Netflix respectively.

doublevr They are not bringing any points to the table any more, just repeating the same mantra all the time.

There’s where you’re wrong. Points galore below.

      doublevr SLR is content overdose

SLRO quality content is way down from what it was in 2019-2020. What’s left is an “overdose” of small studio drudge, mediocre SLRO VR and this AR that costs you a lot less to make than the quality you used to put out. Glad you have the sycophant above to blow smoke up your ass, but SLR as a studio is being driven into the ground by you. So let Nash continue to improve the VR landscape with VRSpy. You’ve got nothing to lose right?

As for Lordcash, I've seen his comments on a number of occasions and I think his words carry a lot of weight, and the shortcomings of slr that he points out are probably shared by many people, especially fans of Alex nash. For pt, it should wait a little longer for quest3's color pt to become widespread, and let the market decide whether it should be widely available or not. Finally, I would like to say that Alex nash's role in the platform should not be overlooked, he has built the popularity of slr. @doublevr LordCrash

For now, there are a lot of good reviews below pt video, and people are amzed by the quest3 color passthrough.

sheldoncooper I can't make sense of his posts as it's some personal projections overkill. His most recent post is a definition of non sense.

There's no one in the company saying let's shoot some shitty content everyone will hate watching. You guys completely don't understand essentials of how things work in SLR or any other company.

What I do to run SLR and the actual production has little in common. We provide producers with resources, casting suggestions, tech and budgets so they can shoot their best. No one tells them what to shoot. For some reason they don't do it well. I have no idea why Nash scenes are inconsistent nor I can do much about it. I'm in power to decide if we want to work with any given producer or not. That's it.

I try to promote the idea of PT, but we only work with a single producer who is happy to do that.

If you don't like how Nash is shooting for SLR tell it to Nash, not me.

doublevr They are not bringing any points to the table any more, just repeating the same mantra all the time.

I feel that I have brought some points and suggestions to the table, but just like how every time in the past, when I try to give you some legitimate feedback, you give me a blanket response and don't ever actually respond to all of my points. This dates back to bitrates, "like" metrics, scene-splitting, alternative ways of handling pass-through, etc. I still remember how myself and others uploaded direct screenshots comparing original bitrates to lower bitrates with clear degradation in picture quality, especially around the face and closeups, and you just denied the fact that there was any difference. Opinions are one thing, but facts are facts.

doublevr The number of likes tells it all.

What about other metrics? Retention? Play duration? Unique users? Downloads? Correlation to models? Release strategy (ie, not releasing 2 PTs back to back, 2 BGGGs back to back, same models back to back)? Whether or not the video releases with script? Human vs AI? If you have a data analytics team that has actually studied this and you are not basing PT's success solely on "likes", then please elaborate. Of course, I'm not expecting you to divulge every bit of data that you have collected over the years, but all you ever cite is just "likes". I guarantee that if you were a bit more forthcoming and specific in your proclamations to us, they would be received better.

doublevr Just skip PT videos. SLR is content overdose, there are plenty of other great videos to watch.

That's well and fine, and I've stated that I can accept that. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade here. But when we see SLRO scenes are going from 10% PT, to 20%, to 40% and to 50% PT... well then that means we are skipping more and more SLRO videos. Then, on top of the fact, there are definitely more than "6 users" that love Nash's bread and butter work, and now we are hearing that Nash may be filming some PT scenes too... Is it that difficult to see why customers are upset?

And does trolling customers ever seem like the right thing to do? I know customers can be annoying and frustrating to deal with. I also work in the video tech industry with 100x louder and angrier customers than SLR with their tweet storms and reddit threads insulting and throwing shade at the product and the people behind the product, but I would never belittle them. And I'm not even the CEO/founder. I'm just a worker-bee. Can you imagine any other scenario where the CEO/founder of a company can interact with their customers like this?

doublevr We just need a better passthrough.

Wasn't that what the Q3 was supposed to be? I know progress takes time, and the Q3 was a great leap forward, but if there are obvious technical limitations outside of SLR's hands, then why pour so much focus on it before the technology has matured? Just to be first? To be innovators? I can get behind those reasons 100%, but I wouldn't shift my entire business strategy around something that isn't technically viably there yet.

doublevr Now we need some directors with a good sense to make it really cool

Okay, I can understand this, and NOW I see why you want Nash to give it a go. At least with this kind of context, I can see the reasoning. You want Nash to help improve the PT experience and push it further versus you want Nash to get on the PT train because that's what's "cool". It's this kind of communication that can go a long way, instead of just trolling people that disagree with you left and right.

g2kbuffetboy didn't mean you specifically. If you can give me an account of things how it should be done from your perspective I would be happy to look into it 👍

doublevr I can't make sense of his posts as it's some personal projections overkill. His most recent post is a definition of non sense.

Still talking about customers and not with them, aren't you? Also biiiiiiiig glass house right there...

doublevr There's no one in the company saying let's shoot some shitty content everyone will hate watching.

And nobody accused you of doing something like that. Talking about non sense, that's pretty much the definition of it. You make up stuff that nobody ever said and then act like it was a fact and everyone was talking bullshit except you. Ridiculous. Seriously, it's really pointless to talk with you since you don't respect even the most basic discussion rules. @g2kbuffetboy stated it correctly, you almost never actually respond to specific feedback and carefully elaborate whether other people might actually have a point, you just throw in some bland generalizations every now and then with almost zero actual connection to the discussion at hand and mock your own customers for being stupid etc. And then you complain that the whole discussion was pointless, the very same discussion you personally derailed with commonplaces.

LordCrash so we have to have this creepy jailbait looking teen thing all the time? I’m not sure Sinatra Monroe would fall into the Milf category but she’s hot regardless of how you categorise her, as is Danielle Renae, as is Jessica Starling. Is Penny Barber not a milf with fake tits? I seem to remember you being quite excited at the prospect of scenes with her.

As for Nash understanding intimacy, what’s intimate about a kissing section where the male performer is not even present? It’s literally the opposite of intimacy and is ridiculous to watch. If intimacy means I can’t actually see what’s going on, you can keep it. In his seated blowjobs for example, all I can often see is the back of the girls head going up and down instead of seeing the dick in her mouth with her looking up at me which I’d personally find more intimate. I’m clearly in the minority where he is concerned, I accept that, but I think his bangers are extremely few and far between. Porn, similarly to every other form of entertainment, is subjective so everyone’s entitled to their own opinion but I don’t see this magic you all see, I find most of his stuff boring and lacklustre in the extreme. Also, before anyone starts with the “that’s just because you want anal in every scene” his anal scenes are no better.

doublevr I know we all talk a load of hyperbole and bullshit at times but I am dead serious when I say that, if you hire this guy (who has been accused of abuse by multiple women in the industry and lost his job because of it), I will be cancelling my membership and never returning. How can you even consider stooping this low to even consider using this creep. I thought you were all about sexual wellness?

petermc You pick out stuff you don't like about his scenes and that's ok. I'm not the biggest friend of the distance in cowgirls in a lot of his scenes either. I never said that his scenes were perfect, they are actually far from it. But his magic scenes contain a lot more content than air kisses and close-up cowgirl. I'd say kisses and close-up cowgirl make up like 5-10% of his scenes, so that's definitely not the whole picture. He has a really special way to direct threesomes and foursomes in particular with a lot of amazing GG interaction and a lot of amazing action-to-action storytelling. He's also often capable to motivate the girls to do their best in threesomes and foursomes. That's where the real magic is to be found imho. But maybe multi-girl scenes are not something you're particularly interested in, so this might explain why you don't value his work as much as others do, like myself. People have different expectations and fetishes etc. and so you simply can't please everyone.
