SLR is being driven into the ground by its little emperor. so sad to see. I really can’t imagine they’ll keep Alex Nash around here much longer either, and then that truly will be the end. pfft. fucking sad.

wherever Nash goes though, that’s where I sub. hopefully it will be a place where discussion and valid criticism is not suppressed.

          I normally have a critique that most VR sites lack diversity but Alex Nash's recent scene kinda squashes that critique as it was clear to me that obviously directors are looking seriously at this aspect. Well done @alexnash and SLR on this front.

              Dude, have you ever watched porn? Was Jenna Jameson (the biggest pornstar of all time) a young ingenue with classical good looks. No she was a slutty looking blonde with big fake tits and tattoos, not head to toe in tattoos (neither is anyone shot by SLRO) but some. Lots of classic US pornstars of that era were similar, girls like Jill Kelly, Stormy Daniels, Briana Banks, Lisa Ann, Shyla Stylez to name a few. There were exceptions of course but porn has always had a lot of pneumatic girls with crazy bodies as that’s what a lot of men like, big tits, slim waist and big ass. Just look at comic books for evidence of that.

              In recent years, I’d say there has been a bit more of a move towards skinny flat chested young looking girls in porn and VR caters to that a hell of a lot. Don’t think for one second though that plenty of porn fans don’t still want that slutty unattainable fantasy girl with tits and tattoos rather than a “real” looking girl next door type.

                    See, that's the problem: We are in the mid-2020s now. I like Christy Canyon and Ginger Lynn too, but we aren't in that era any more. It's better to move porn - especially VR porn - forward, not back to classic era flat porn.

                          I’d argue that, even in the 2020’s, lots of porn performers have tattoos to some degree and there’s still a lot of fake tits (plus now even fake asses) around. Fake boobs are probably not as prevalent now as back in the day but they’re still far from some rare niche even if VR’s obsession with teens makes it look that way.

                          I like some variety personally. Some days I want to fuck some sweet innocent girl next door. Other days I want to fuck a slutty pornstar who has tits and ass whether those tits are artificially enhanced or not.

                          Where I am a bit of a hypocrite is the use of ass implants. I think a lot of fake asses look horrible. I’m sure there are some that are so well done that I don’t even know they’re fake but the obviously fake ones are not attractive at all to me. I do get then why some people have a similar reaction to fake boobs but they’ve been big thing in porn for so long that you can’t expect not to see it regularly as a porn viewer.

                                    This is the place to say it.
                                    It seems that SLR flew there #1 director @alexnash across the ocean and gave him the new 8k camera that he has never used before.
                                    Nash had shot 50 straight scenes with some of the best camera placement in the business IMO. He know how to use that camera plus it looked great. Does he know the distances for the 8K camera? Obviously not. All the Euro scenes now look to far away. Did he check after the first scene to see what it looked like? Obviously not. I haven't even watched any after the first one because I know how SLR does things. The first one is to far away so they will all be the same. I just read people complaining about the distances on the newest scripted scene. "to far away" "why is my dick so far away" and on and on.

                                    Let me ask everybody a question.
                                    If you were going to set up this trip across the ocean to shoot these Euro girls for one time only. Would you give the director a camera that he has never used and not test it before hand?

                                      Let's look at the last 2 months of SLR originals for my lifetime membership.
                                      24 scenes

                                      5 Pt scenes, can't watch because I have a Pimax
                                      8 Zero immersive with no story at all, waste of time Mack scenes
                                      2 SimsenseMedia scenes that they let him shoot that weren't PT. One was OK. One was pretty damn good (Rumor is that it was directed by Leana Lovings)
                                      5 Euro scenes with an untested for distance camera so completely breaks immersion.
                                      1 28 minute "fixed" scene

                                      That leaves 3 @alexnash scenes that are good. Only one has a script. The other one in coming soon so I am waiting to watch it so that might be months or never.

                                      Conclusion: 2 scenes that I have watched that are good. TWO in two months + 2 ok scenes. More is this case is for sure not better at all. It is way worse

                                      rerun119 I believe the distance problem is a result of the "lens hack" that they have been mentioning. Whatever they did to fix the huge scale, they went too far and now the objects in the videos look too small and far away. I found that zooming in helps and it's far more watchable than the previous 8K scenes with the totally messed up scale. However, it's not convenient having to change the zoom specifically for these SLR Originals scenes when I don't need to touch it for any other content.
