Kieshi Are these numbers (script requests vs. likes) a rough representation of the percentage of people using scripts? Somewhere between 1 and 4 %? Always thought I was the only one not using scripts.

SchnuppiLilac Not neccessarily. Just because I use scripts doesn't mean that I will request one for every video. I request maybe 1 or two a week, if that.
An accurate number would be the percentage of subs who also sub to scripts, but even that would be flawed as some people that use scripts may just buy individual ones.
Will65 - sorry theres still some bugs to resolve and figure out in particular for upcoming/coming soon section which is taking time
Thanks for the pings @Will65 - for some reason I dont see every single notifications/pings (I get some but for some reason dont get others, not sure why yet)
I do wish there was a way we could see all notifications previous/missed especially pings (I'll make a feature request)
SchnuppiLilac I would agree with @Will65 on this, it does not necessarily show the actual percentage of script users.
Just our of curiosity, did you try scripts and decided this is not your thing or there is other reason you are not using them?
Kieshi
I have never tried scripts or any mechanical devices and I have not made a conscious decision against scripts either. So far, I am not missing anything and I don't think it would really fit to the way I am consuming videos. I would much rather have that phantom sense back that i had years ago in a rudimentary form.
doublevr Wait, you are going to script all the highest voted scenes with AI?
This is not good at all. The AI is not as good as a human by a long shot. So now all the videos that people want scripted the most are going to be AI and no real human is going to make a script for them. No scripter is going to waste his time on a script when he is competing with a computer for plays. Even if you don't take money for the script by AI. You are going to put it out with an AI script first, then people will watch it. Then 3 months later a human script will come out and people will skip it because they already watched it.
You should start with like number 30 or something and leave the really requested ones for the humans.
hey guys,
besides excluding the AI scripts from the upcoming grid, we will also keep the logic for request script button on AI scripts.
br,
Andrew
Andrew_SLR I understand that. Unless you script every scene on SLR with AI, then way would a human spend the time making a script for a scene that already has one. They would be competing against people already watching it a month earlier with the AI version.
So a new script shows up on the 'New Page' and I'm like ohh I already watched that. It just don't seem like they would make it.
@RealcumberScripts would you pick a scene to script if it already has an AI version?
rerun119 - not sure yet tbh - likely depends on how good/different the AI script is comparatively, and depends on how many other scenes there are to script for - but if alot of guys are still interested and commenting wanting another human version for it, then sure
we will have the majority of our database AI scripted, so then the users will decide if they want to watch a scene with AI script or wait for the human one - these will still be in the most requested page.
rerun119 check the same day script initiative
https://forum.sexlikereal.com/d/3967-request-upcoming-videos-for-the-same-day-script-release
we've fixed the logic, AI scripted videos should now show on most requested grid and will also have a request script button
Why did you guys get rid of the counter on the script button? Now if I want to see how many people also clicked on the script request, I have to go under the script icon. Before it would say something like 25 request. Now its just a button.
Why the change?

This was a question on reddit too. I know there are a few things with script requests that are a work in progress, so I've asked about the individual counters on scene pages and will get back to you.
The script request button could be more intuitive so you know if you've already clicked it - I know for sure it would confuse a lot of users. You could change the button from "request?" to "requested" with a green checkmark by it or something just to make it crystal clear what state the button is in.
