This isn't just an SLR decision, but most any billers. ZENRA I understand why one type of porn is OK and the other is not. I just think 'family porn' should be one of hundreds of niche porn, not the most popular of all porn types. If this is the case, then the individuals who do want this have a very loud voice and receive a disproportionate number of likes for their creepy comments. There are dozens of these comments on this very site with various solo studios like VRAllure and RealHotVR. I agree with you entirely in your characterization of the typical male porn creator. One of the reasons I subscribe to SLR is that they have an almost-exclusive agreement with John Strong for Alex Nashe's films. It's not about how it's filmed, it's about what it's portraying. Step family porn portrays consensual sex between 2 adults regardless, while time-stop often portrays the female as unaware of what is happening to her.

Mediocrity has a short lifespan. Early films by Alex Nash are as popular today as they ever were. Now let's compare them to the banal scenes from Wankz VR and POVR Originals. Some of their models are hot, but when the novelty of the model wears off the film is forgettable.
Niche JAV content done with American models and without censorship would sell, especially to folks of the homeland with effective proxy services

Vanilla sells well in the short-term. It's a short term investment that sucks the blood of new models. Weird stuff attracts interest and sells better in the long term.
