So, I've been noticing something strange with the scene rankings over at BDK. Some scenes that used to be at the bottom of the list have shot up to the top overnight, without any changes in likes numbers. It's weird, right?
As far as I now, It was about a year ago that they changed their rating system, going from a scale of 10 to just showing the number of likes each scene had, while hiding the number of dislikes. I remember there was a bit of an uproar from users about that, but they didn't seem to pay any mind.
I've got a feeling they might be pushing some of their older scenes up the rankings in order to revive them, which doesn't seem fair to us users, and I find it really anti-consumer. As someone who uses the 'Top Rated' section a lot and tends to watch the highest-rated scenes first before working my way down, I was pretty shocked to see what was happening.
Which leads me to wonder... Is the same thing happening over here on SLR and other studios as well? Has anyone else noticed this?
