@doublevr
I would like an easy way to see which videos have scripts in progress by other scripters (easy is not looking at an upcoming scripts page which has been more or less wrong for the last year).

The spreadsheet we are/were using does not seem to include a lot of the videos that I see in the upcoming scripts tab, and I don't want to waste my time writing a script for an already scripted video.

scrptr9 The sheet we use is not managed or run by SLR. It's something we as scripter community did ourselves. But with the new reservation system built in SLR now, and on-boarding of new scripters, it's not really feasible to sync these things. Before the new system, @RealcumberScripts and I knew pretty much all scripters that published on SLR. But now I don't know any of the new ones nor am involved with on-boarding them.

It just happen to be that both Realcumber and I also work with SLR. Other than that there is no actual connection to the spreadsheet.

Another important thing is that the reserved scripts on the spreadsheet, were pretty much guaranteed to be made. We can not guarantee this for reservations made on SLR. Or even pass the quality check we have in place.

@doublevr Rakly3 Your answer has very little to do with the question.

I am asking SLR to come up with a way that scripters can see which scenes have been reserved. SLR already has this info (the reservation page), they just need to make it so other scripters can see it.

I won't start a script for a scene someone else is working on, I won't write a script that is already available elsewhere, as neither will make enough money to be worth my time.

And right now I can't see a list of what people are working on.

Though, with the multiple scripts per scene that is coming up, this won't be any issue any more.

Rakly3 Can I ask why anybody would waste their time making a second script when there are 1000's of other scenes that could be scripted without having to split the profit.

I just looked at the scene by SLR that now has 2 scripts. The heat map looks the exact same. Whoever spent all that time on it, I really wish they would have used that time on a different scene.

rerun119 Mainly for multi axis scripts. We also don't want to remove the existing scripts.

The scripter who makes multi axis scripts will likely also put a different price while not all users will want or need a multi axis script.

You answers indicate that you don't seem to be able to think about or understand this issue at all.

I think it is a huge issue, as no scripter trying to make money would ever on purpose waste their time writing a script that was going to split money with another scripter.

I also never expected to see others being allowed to release scripts for my already scripted scenes. Imagine how happy I was to see one of the scenes I scripted show up with ScriptAI attached to it as an upcoming release, although realcumber sid it was just a test. The SLR test also managed to remove my script from streaming use for a number of days (the blue symbol went away).

How will SLR know the new script is not just copied from the first. Do you even realize that with 10 minutes of tweaks in a spreadsheet one can make a script appear "new".

The only good use for multi-script is to allow a multi-axis script to co-exist with the original. And I would expect most scripters will release a multi-axis version of their script. I know I plan to do that.

And why would SLR choose to release a script to compete against their best scripter?

Talking as me now, not SLR representative.

I've raised the exact same concern m8, and more. I'm a scripter myself.
From all the people both in and outside SLR, I fought this the hardest. And believe I did make a difference in how things turned out. SLR AI scripts do not count towards viewtime for scripter payouts.

I actually fight @doublevr on almost everything he wants to do if I think it's not in the user's best interest (or in this case the scripter's).

Other than that, I can not publicly discuss much.
