Not much revealed about specs yet. They obviously just announcing it ahead of Apple’s headset unveiling on Monday.

getting exciting...competition is great for us...will now a little more in 4days on the apple there is seemingly a lot of SPEC info in on the Q3 based on some of parts they are going with...looks to come out in the fall/beginning of OCT

Definitely keeping my fingers crossed. The Q2 was absolutely enormous for VR content, directly and indirectly, so with any luck the trend will continue with the Q3. Though it always bothers me that the 2 factors I personally care about the most (display resolution + FOV) are never mentioned until like 6 months after the initial announcement 😞

@"Vrsumo2017"#p48264 Why stop at the pico 4 FOV? Go bigger, it can be done. The Pimax FOV crushes the pico 4. I'm telling you if you have never tried on a Pimax, you head will explode with how big FOV is. Hopefully the Q3 is BIG

Click on controller
Click on player
Then click on pitch

The green check and a x will appear

Then you push up on the joy stick to assign pitch to the joystick, then click on the green check to save it.

after i click controller....i DON't get all those options down below like PITCH. it also is a pic of Meta Quest Pro...VS quest 3 if that makes a difference...yours says pico

think my options end at dome rotation? and the PITCH you are talking about should be below...but none of those other options are there

spanker idk, it should all be the same on all headsets, I could be wrong tho...but you should be able to change the pitch.

I use it on quest 2 and pico 4 and it's the same method on both to get to the player settings.

Vrsumo2017 If they don't sort these out fast it's gonna be even longer for the Q3 to take over the Q2 market share. I probably won't make the switch until there's a price drop.

Why you all so convinced some units have lower quality cameras? This is exactly what these small cameras are expected to look like. They are too small to get enough light in low-light conditions. The same type of cameras are used in smartphones except smartphones do a lot of extra post-processing of the image to try make it look better. If they tried to do the same for the multiple cameras on one of these headsets the battery would last like 30 mins.

Well my $150 chinese smartphone shooting video about 5 time better ,clearer and low noise at the same light conditions then the Quest 3 passthrough cameras ... Sounds crazy but its true ...

I read a user say, turning off the 120hz and handfapping...😊 I mean hand tracking off helped his battery life last longer.

I had 120 Hz activated on Q2 for quite some time and never noticed any major impact on battery life until a few weeks ago. So it could also be an issue of the Quest OS and not the Q3 device specifically.

Im now thinking about returning my quest 3, the binocular overlap is too noticeable for me. Someone suggested changing the adaptive distance to 2, instead of setting it to the lowest, it seems to help.

The pico 4, I can hardly noticed the binocular overlap at all. I think the quest 2 is better at it than the quest 3 as well.
