SchnuppiLilac Quest 2 already does that. The first time I left the automatic hand-tracking stuff enabled, I saw my virtual hands come into existence only to jerk for a couple of seconds before sliding inside the Handy (with a virtual hand "floating", I was holding the device IRL)

Lol Zuckerberg said it turns out people really love fitness in vr, yeah mark we really love fitness in your helmet
You know vr porn consumption "activity" probably out ways everything in their data, lol it's # 1
Lol watch how much they see their pass through gets used on the quest 3 but it won't be used with the zombies or punching octopus lol
Our color pass through is hit! Yay!
Lol
Realistically avatar interview with Zuckatar.

spanker up grade
Honestly I think this will be the last vr I buy, unless the shit breaks or something, I'll use the warranty to replace it but upgrading to a newer q4 or Pico 5? Nah, think I'll be good with the q3
I had Hella fun with my gear vr for bout 5 years, only reason I upgraded to a q2 was cause they updated my s10+ and it no longer worked on the gear vr, only reason I bought Pico 4 was just for color pt, I'll be buying q3 just for the better pt. I'm pretty sure q3 pt will be way better then Pico 4 pt.
Tobad we can't turn in the helmets like phones and just upgrade with a new plan or something. That's how they should do it.
i enjoy watching netflix/prime shows on it...so whatever also makes that better...measurably of course
kinda why i didn't touch the kid's q2 that was a foot away from me

One of the main advantages of the Quest 3 model will be its pass-through cameras, which will allow users to capture moderately high-quality VR180 videos (2 cameras at 18ppd, or 4K each). Have you considered creating a sub-section of this platform that would allow for user-submitted content?
[deleted] you mean we can actually create vr180 content with the quest 3 now??????

I still use my GearVR on a regular basis when traveling, and, in many respects, it is superior to the Quest 2. For instance, the color matching is more accurate due to Samsung's AMOLED screens, and with the Galaxy S20, there's 12GB of RAM on board and essentially the same processor as Quest 2 (the XR2 is basically a modified Snapdragon 865). Comparatively, the Quest 3 is a major upgrade. It features two LCD screens with a PPI of about 1,218 per screen, offering a resolution of 4,138 x 2,228 for 9,136,704 pixels at a refresh rate of 90Hz. This is significantly higher than the Galaxy S20 with GearVR, which has a resolution of 3,200 x 1440 for 4,608,000 pixels at 60Hz. The Quest 3's pixel density almost doubles that of any Samsung device running GearVR, marking the end of the phone-based VR in most parts of the world, among middle-class communities.

Yes, I believe so. In fact, the Quest 3 should allow users to record their own videos at a resolution of 18PPD, which is just under the resolution of the Quest 3 screens. The device features two 4K cameras for full-color pass-through, which, assuming the processing power is high enough, could allow users to record content. While the videos may need to be relatively small due to the internal storage of the device, I think this is a feasible and worthwhile feature to explore immediately, given the focus of this platform.
The videos would be in 3D, but not necessarily with the same level of compactness and quality as VR180. However, they would offer a unique and different perspective from what is available on other websites. They would be a direct capture of what the wearer experiences in their own headset, or the equivalent of VR180 with a resolution reduction.

What kind of content do you expect to be coming from Q3 users, assuming that there is no demand for POV fapping? The (amateur) videos I have seen here that were filmed by the male performer with a handheld VR camera were usually shaky and rather unwatchable.

SchnuppiLilac What kind of content do you expect to be coming from Q3 users,
Solo masturbation and entertaining niche activities from content creators. It's not financially feasible for SLR to produce solo films.
Content from social media women who might not have access to a VR180 camera but would own a Quest 3 ("amateur" content).
SchnuppiLilac It all depends of course if the quality is watchable at all. That remains to be seen but if doable I wouldn't mind see content from independent performers that can't shoot high quality VR for various reason.
Eg. I have been in contact with Mindi Mink and she would love to shoot VR on her own but her budget is limited and she doesn't have the knowhow to set up a VR camera anyway. I would be more than happy watching lower VR quality content from someone like her that do my kink. It could be a way to introduce VR to some of these individual performers that have large fanbases.
Trying to use a $500 VR helmet as a production camera is probably not going to yield the best results, even aside from the that that you'd want to attach any recording device to something more stable than a performer's face. Given how little would be invested in the passthrough cameras compared to the whole headset, it would be like spending $30k on a BMW so you can use the reversing camera on a movie instead of a $30k RED + steadicam rig. The results would be miserable, especially inside without a serious lighting kit.

vrpicasso probably not going to yield the best results
OnlyFans videos are often 720p. People pay high prices for them. It should be up to the creator whether they feel they can earn money from their content.
