Assuming that the online stream players those sites use don’t magically improve tons before my renewals I’ll likely cancel and switch to an SLR sub. Having just sunk 3-12month subscriptions on 3 sites, immediately chucking another couple of hundred upfront on SLR gets a little hard to justify lol
As for SLR connect more broadly, it’s definitely unfortunate that those who do seem to be signing up are all the ones who are already included in SLR premium subscription. I would have thought the companies that aren’t included in premium would be the ones more interested in utilising connect, as it would increase their retention and make those contemplating switching less inclined to do so.
I guess most the problems I am having tho are because I’m using a quest and not the rift or the a vive so there’s much more benefit to the SLR app than there would be for many other users. But if the quest sees broad adoption presumably more and more people will encounter all the same problems as myself and eventually discover that SLR is at least for now the only way to address them. Hopefully the other producers realise that and become more receptive.
