Good change. Every time I see "interactive" I get excited for a second, thinking it's a game or something and then I realize it's just more haptics stuff.

Haptic scripts should be using MIDI format imo, it's perfect for this use case

I see one potential limitation though - precision.
In MIDI specification (1.0 since 2.0 is not yet actually implemented in any device) there is only 19 message types that allow 14-bit value to be in 0-16383 range (which will be enough to have max precision of 0.001), other values are 7-bit in 0-128 range.
Do you believe it gives us enough precision for smooth operation?
Are there any other limitations we can hit with that solution?

I guess it would depend on many factors such as the stroke length and maximum speed of the haptic machine. The lower resolution voices/channels could be used for more basic toys like vibrators/suckers/etc. Some toys might need more than one high resolution channel due to multiple vibrators, twisting motions, etc.

There's no need for backwards compatibility though, since nobody is going to take these "songs" and play them on a MIDI device, the main motivation for using midi (or really, any other suitable, already well-established file format) is the availability of tools, libraries, and APIs to use in the code that will produce these files, rather than starting from scratch with a new format.

We can use the following

Haptics = sex toys, suits, wristbands, etc
Haptics scripts = Interactive sex toy scripts, haptic suit interactive script

Stroker is a kind of sex toy: Haptics->Sex Toys->Stroker, Multi-axis sex toy, Twisting, Pumping, Vagina etc.

Haptics VR Porn is scripted VR porn for any haptic devices. I suggest we rather use Interactive Sex Toys VR porn scripts.

Haptics scenes doesn’t make much sense for me as it’s rather Interactive Sex Toys videos. Or Scenes with Interactive Sex Toy Scripts.
