there are a myriad of lower resolution options for people who cant stream the max. why do you need to butcher the highest quality option to cater for the lowest common denominator?

the original download option is a download option.. not a streaming option. even for people who download its not attractive for a few reasons:

the storage implications of the excessive bitrate
the need for fast wifi for reliable playback
slr download limits

of course you already know that perfectly well yet you still present it as the solution

as anyone who has ever subbed to another site and who isnt partially blind would know.. the streaming (and regular download) quality on slr sucks ass. if you want to stream slr vids with higher quality.. comparable to other sites.. you have no options available. if you want to download there is one very unattractive and potentially unviable option.

Uh, some guys here have a terrible and entitled attitude..

If people think the streaming quality isn't good enough (for now) and the downloads are 'too big', maybe ya'll should consider investing in some storage space if you want to wank to the highest quality porn known to mankind and stream from your local NAS. Stop being such peasants. 💩

FWIW I super appreciate being so open and chatting with the community and taking feedback while dealing with little turds. 😆

jommy it’s not just about storage space. If you download a 75GB original scene, your home Wi-Fi has to be fast enough to play it back on a standalone headset like a Quest 2. Most people’s won’t be.

Don’t get me wrong, I like that they offer the original file and I use it for downloads so I have the highest quality version of the scene. I rarely watch those huge files though as my Wi-Fi can’t usually handle it. I just tend to stream them and keep the download version saved in the hope that I’ll one day be able to watch it if I get a better PC or Wi-Fi speeds improve.

I use a Pico 4 and did notice the 8K 'trial' videos were much 'wider/larger' - are you saying with a bigger resolution headset the 'larger' effect will be less? If so that's very interesting!

jommy it's essentially the same, regardless of what headset you use. The scaling is just as large on my pimax headset, all im saying is that if your headset is only 90-110 FOV then larger scaling will be much more noticeable because with such small FOV headsets it's more noticeable. My headset is about 200 FOV so if things are scaled slightly larger then i dont mind it as much because I already have a large FOV to begin, hope that makes sense.

i had girls send me 1min test clips of as they got the camera out of the box trying things out and wanted feedback

i really pay attn. to the natural nails in the clips...seeing if they are nice and clear...if i can see the finger prints, all the better...makes me feel I'm in the same room, a foot away, jerking off.

cam mantra - goosebumps get me hard. which is basically saying NEED to see everything up close...and it's the same in VR

petermc agree with this, dont get rid of the download option just give us all the options so we can make the choice based on our networking capacity at the time
