  • Okay folks, this is serious - No Alcohol, No drugs, No Nonconsensual

mirdumar It is true that SLR may be most cautious company in the industry. I think they are aware and have explained a few times why they act in this way. I think it makes no sense at all to ban all prop alcohol in porn videos with professional actors while it is perfectly legal to have real sex with a real person that had a real drink or two, but I'd rather prefer some videos being edited or taken down over being informed one day, sorry guys, we are closing.

mirdumar 100% agree, it has become really toxic and polarizing how each side has been pulling to get as many people to one side or the other, while in reality most of us are a spectrum around somewhere in the center

JPMorgan CEO suggests government seize private property to quicken climate initiatives
In a letter to shareholders, Dimon wrote that 'permitting reforms are desperately needed to allow investment to be done in any kind of timely way. We may even need to evoke [sic] eminent domain'

take it the loudest voiced banker is talking about liberal/left leaning government...pretty sure it would not be a right leaning admin.

spanker some people are not ready to start having these type of mature conversations yet, and only blame "conservative bigots" for all their first world problems just like the left wing media tells them to think

unfortunately, we need the people making the brutal decisions to FEEL the pain...they're typically on a gated hill away from the mess they create in these places. the guy that started the SF downfall will be running for president

    headline-
Hollywood mogul's 'democrat' daughter slams 'liberal' San Francisco after Cash App founder's murder
Sara Foster, daughter of legendary musician David Foster, criticized 'liberal politicians' for 'ruining cities'

"I have no words," she wrote. "SF is a complete s---hole. I am a registered democrat and feel confident saying liberal politicians are ruining cities."

she would STILL vote for the for the libby left she complains about...just move away after she's done it

i guess we can keep this convo on the banks and whose behind them.

might be a few clues/headlines/statements from officials on the other side

justsomedude101 I've noticed a lot of excellent JAV scenes missing from my playlists so I'm really really hoping you guys are doing something along the lines of editing and restoring the content. Hell, even to use the AI program being developed to make scenes passthrough, then forcing JAV scenes containing disallowed content to be passthrough only, would be better than not having the scenes at all. Or even cut out entire parts of scenes with disallowed content if it allows the rest to be restored.

JAV is why I signed up for SLR in the first place, and it'd be just a shame to completely lose so many amazing scenes due to something like a can of beer in the background. Especially when nobody except the payment processors even cares about that can of beer being there.

vrpicasso There should simply be credit card companies in Europe. I don't know what the EU is still waiting for. It's obvious that the US are a sinking ship that is getting more unreliable every day.

It is pretty ridiculous how much power US credit card companies have and what they're enforcing with their power. If they want to shut down payment processing for activities like terrorism or amateur porn of questionable legality or clearly illegal real activities, then sure, that's understandable. But threatening shut down for even showing something like alcohol in the background of professionally produced porn with fictional scenarios and paid consenting adult actors??

If a particular porn company is caught doing illegal things, then their payment processing should be shut down at least till they can prove they've changed their ways. But it's nonsense to have a blanket ban on fictional scenarios between paid actors that would be illegal if they were real and nonconsensual, against all porn companies. Why aren't they threatening to ban Hollywood studios or TV show producers or movie theaters for all the fictional illegal activities shown in movies and TV?

I personally have no interest in seeing anyone drink piss for example, but who are the card companies to determine that paying adults are not allowed to watch paid adult actors drinking piss? It's scary to think how far the card companies' absurd selective censorship can go with this much power.

avengerbob Cutting and re-publishing I hear is the plan for JAV scenes that may contain some NG content, but are still salvageable.

LordCrash There are processors in EU. Instead of lamenting on this board, consider using that time to research the current EU billing environment.

avengerbob Payment processors will rarely shut down a site with non-compliant content out of the blue unless it was extremely out of line. This goes double if it's a legit site like SLR. What happened to PH is far and away not how it is normally done.

What would happen is the processor will reach out and say "X movie has Y forbidden content so please remove or cut out offending content". This is clearly noted in the MC adult merchant guidelines from the other year. Of course, if this happens constantly, then one's processing is at stake, but most paysites have multiple processors and try to avoid any of these compliance issues from the get-go. It is also why paysites like SLR and others now have Content Removal links in their header and/or footer even though the content is all legally acquired.

to think outside the box a bit

maybe DELINK the credit card processing option for a month...see what it looks like. see if people will get some BTC to make the purchase.

it's possible you find out that it's not as bad as you think...and might become something better

possible it's a disaster and signups go down over 50 percent, but i would also deem that to be a timing issue mostly while people figure shit out...NOT a complete NO/NEVER signing up

it's NOT like it's a dime a dozen site. if you are into porn and just got a new headset, you probably NEED to be joining this site...i've joined some others...they are good for about a month per year.

Accept the top cryptocurrencies/stablecoins (BTC, LTC, ETH, BNB, USDT, DOGE)

Provide a guide how people can setup an account with a top centralized exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kucoin) to acquire one or more of the currencies above. It really isn’t that hard.

Provide a guide how people can pay with crypto. It also isn’t that hard.

Lead the way for porn services to reducing their dependence on MC and other corporations that are long overdue for some much needed disruption.

spanker Turning off CC and only taking crypto would see signups drop more like 90% if one is lucky. There are some viable alternative methods outside of traditional CC processing, but none on their own match the convenience of directly paying via CC on the site's join form. And again, the big elephant is vanilla content sells.

I've noticed a few scenes I had bookmarked got removed for this reason which is ridiculous. As I mentioned in another thread makes sense if the scene implies someone is being drugged or drunk and taken advantage of, but to remove every scene for the mere presence of alcohol is a little much. It's a porno! They can show alcohol and drugs in sexual situations along with gruesome violence on cable tv but in porn it's a no-go? Not following the logic there. Plus, are there not protocols porn companies have to follow like any porn or non-porn studio that keeps workers and staff safe and legal? Wouldn't that allow for the possibility of police involvement if such a situation presented itself? Porn, as basic as it is, is like any other "scripted" entertainment so why would this apply to porn only and not HBO or Netflix Originals? Cause besides penetration I've seen some pretty graphic stuff there and pretty much on every other streaming platfiorm. Hollywood didn't ban sex or rape scenes after the whole Weinstein ordeal. I hate to say it but if i see many more of my bookmarked scenes disappear i might cancel and look elsewhere, seems like all the other similar sites still have the scenes up i noticed removed from slr
