And the reason is - when you will watch such a POV, performer's nose is going to be hanging from your chin.
All the kisses are going to be to your neck.

Old post but this happens in other positions as well. Some like it as they like to be close to the action' and that's fair of course but it's just not POV but a 3rd person view of a cut off head placed at the chest of the male actor. I see it creep more and more into scenes.
