Agreed. Scale looks good. Don’t know what sort of voodoo the guys are using. But I am definitely in favor of switching back to the Canon rig, if they can get these results on a consistent basis.
Fine detail is also excellent. Like you said, skin texture, pores, fine hair, fabric textures, etc…are nicely detailed and realistic.
I thought the picture was slightly grainy. I don’t know if anything can be done about that. But overall, I am pretty happy with the scale and image quality.
As far as the scene goes…this scene is 🔥🔥🔥
Blake and Melody are some of the best VR performers working. And they make an excellent duo! They are both very natural in front of the camera. Excellent actors and play well off each other!
I did notice some camera placement/angle issues. Things I’ve already mentioned to you Alex in previous posts. Like the camera being too close in the seated BJ/cowgirl section. And the lack of tilt back during the laying down cowgirl (the camera was actually tilted downwards slightly). I know this scene was shot a while ago. So I won’t rehash them here again.
I do want to discuss another topic. To tilt or not to tilt? But this isn’t specifically about you Alex. Although I did notice it in this scene’s intro. This is more for producers and viewers in general. So I’ll make a specific thread about it. I would be interested in hearing your perspective though Alex. So I hope you’ll take a look at it.
