  • Any thoughts why these scenes didn't go well?

Just FYI I use the like feature to mark scenes I intend to watch before deciding whether to download or not. Me giving a like does not mean I like the scene. I'm probably not alone in this. I only stream to see which scenes I want to keep.

As for the original post, I agree with everyone else - not interested in the cast and I will reiterate that your thumbnails are the worst of any studio. You have to fix that. The viewer should immediately be able to spot an SLRO scene in the grid, based on thumbnail design, and you might want to hire a good photographer - not just for the thumbnail but for galleries and general external marketing. Branding helps the user find content, models in promoting themselves and you, and you finding new users.

doublevr we are rotating 8 thumbnails for each video for small sample groups then showing the best performing one for everyone.

Even with that solution random screenshots will never be as good as a real title screen with text.

    doublevr it's personal taste but I didn't feel attracted to the models or the setting for these scenes.

      Honestly I think this one is also due to a terrible title card if you look at the scene she did after this she is an absolute smoke show the lighting is great , her body is sexy, her outfit is revealing just enough to make me want to see more. Youtubers talk about thei mportance of the right thumbnail/ title card all the time and I think she is a beautiful girl but that bowling alley shot hides how pretty and sexy she is through an attempt at modesty I think? I don't think the girls have to be always nude but I could google search something more suggestive than this title image and this is a porn site....

      Harems are hot because they play into the fantasy of having all the girls you want. You can love Girl A's face, Girl B's Tits, Girl B's ass, and be absolutely waiting for the smokeshow that combines all of those features into an absolutely sexy look. This is another case of a bad title card burying how hot the scene is. I get the outfits due to the theme but it takes away that sense of the harem being a buffet of choice and all these gorgeous girls covered up is a stylistic mistake. Hell have one girl cover face bare tits with a pile of girls making out behind her.

      This is the most surprising one to me because she is msoulderingly hot , I think the title and thumbnail are mismatched which is part of it. and I think she's hot enough for me to stil lwatch the video but another case of surprisingly oto covered up . You have this gorgeous girl fully lcothed ass up in the bed. She's hot as hell but again I can buy a kinky calendar that's more revealing than this.

      I think thumbnails get overlooked in content creation plenty but I work in digital ocntent and a great screenshot can sell your project more than the best text description. I think a lot of these are thumbnails that failed to captivate. I don't even think being clothed is the issue in and of itself it's how the clothed subject is presented though.

      are excellent clothed thumbnails that tell a story whethere it's Arielle Ferrerra inviting you between her tits and lips or Hazel Moores advance it still suggests to the viewer it's all about them . I think clothed thumbnails have to be more inviting because otherwise it's jsut a pic of a chick with clothes on....on a porn site ...feels like a waste.

      doublevr I’ll tell you why I didn’t like any of them (apart from the last one) and it’s because none of them had doggy style in, only lame, crappy and lazy (imo) standing doggy.

      I didn’t give the Kitana one a like as I see her more as an anal performer and she wasn’t doing anal here. I will give it a like now though as I think she’s awesome and want to see more women like her on here. There will be plenty on here though who only like very young looking girls. They don’t like the big DSLs, the big fake tits, the big ass, the tattoos etc. They want teen looking girl next door types and Kitana is the opposite of that, she looks like a pornstar through and through!

        Mr @doublevr you cannot really compare videos with scripts and those without. I find myself more and more sticking to already scripted content.
        With a lot of choice, people have to base their choice on other factors without even viewing the video, like scripted, thumbnail, etc. We can only view so much after all.
        With you ramping up content with more production teams, you are going to find more of this.

          Now here's a scene where SLR could have done better. This model is a top 10. She is incredibly attractive, innocent looking, and perfect for VR.

          This scene has few "likes" because of the lousy scenario and complete failure to devise a watchable scene.

          Please bring her back and do something better. She deserves a second chance!

          I strongly disagree. Every good scene requires close-ups and some lead-up to the virtual sex. Otherwise the scene has no entertainment value. If you don't want entertainment value and are just looking for hot models doing the same repetitive actions, might I suggest that you subscribe to BadoinkVR or to SLR's main competitor, POVR. Folks pay extra to SLR because they produce high quality films and allow for downloads of the studio files.

            You have a bug where content isn’t being shown on the app / headset that are shown on the website. A lot of these SLR videos are filtered out for me in the app. I have to add them to Favorites on my phone and then look at my list on the app, as they don’t appear in casual viewing. I don’t have any filters on the Laundry video for example. Hadn’t seen it on the headset but will go check it now.

            Regarding the specific videos called out, my reasons for skipping these:

            Harems aren’t for me. Too much noise, not into the bulk of the “C-List” girls in here. Too long. You’ll get more views with fewer A-Lists than a giant mob of loud, bored C and B listers. Asian Delight is a great example. Fewer girls, really into it, top shelf girls.

            Tatted up, piercings, absurd fake tits, ugly ear hoops, excess jewelry, etc. instant skip. Look at your top models on the site and almost none of them have any of this.

            I love ebony / ethnic girls. Not into nipple piercings. Bad color in this environment and lighting. Maybe I’m weird, but bad colors and lighting feels “cheap” or dirty or old. I liked her in the basketball 4-some.

            For all of these - if I’ve favorited them - I put the headset on to watch it, skip around and right away if I’m seeing shitty camera work, I unfavorite and never go back.

            Don’t care about scripts.

            Just book girls from Brazzers and you’ll be good. Whatever you have to do to get them, make it happen. All the other factors will matter much less if you have chicks like Angela White, Lexi Luna, Kayley Gunner level star on a consistent basis. NA scenes aren’t one of the best looking videos but the casting is so damn good 90% or the time that I stay subscribed simply for that.

              For me, none of these were keepers for me primarily due to the casting, which I will admit is absolutely subjective. I'm also not a big fan of scenes with an overwhelming amount of performers at once. When I tried to watch the innocent harem scene, my eyes found Eliza Eves and just left me wanting a one-on-one scene with her instead.

Casting isn't easy because everyone likes different things and different kinds of women, etc. But there's been WAY too many totally unknown girls that look way too similar...skinny, small tits, spinner types imo. There's a severe lack of "busty" girls (fake or natural) in general. I like the fake look personally in porn as well as natural, but not a fan of the girls that look like they're 16. Not my thing. I think if you stick to NA/Brazzers/Bangbros level casting most people will be happy.

                  Once again, as I've said many times before, I think money is well spent on locking down A level star talent. I also think a large majority of fans would much rather have a bland setting/scenery if it means higher quality girls. I'd even take a blank background if it's a top level chick and really good lighting. You don't need to rent out a mansion.

                      doublevr I really, really, really, REALLY don't think that you should tie scripting priority to watch time statistics. There are a lot of subscribers who don't bother to watch scenes unless and until they have a script - unless it is ultra-top tier talent, and then we may skim them to make sure they are shot well and script-friendly so that we can beg for a script in comments.

                      What would help is that REQUEST SCRIPT button we've been asking for (and promised) for ever. Then you'd know how many people actually want a script! Simple, right? Otherwise, you're basing scripting priority on watch statistics of people who may not even own an interactive toy. That would also be an intersting datamining task - look at the watch time of users who regularly have a toy connected, and see if they differ from people who do not. I'm willing to bet that toy users watch significantly more videos that have scripts than that do not have scripts (both overall watch time and number of repeats).

                      And no, the script rquest thread does not serve the same function. If you're going to be a leader in interactive porn, do it right.

                        Dying to know the basis of this statement. Sure doesn’t include me. I hate the fake look, and seriously doubt that “most people” would be happy with this, but I’d also never presume to speak for “most people”.

                            Is the handy really that worth it? Seems like way more of a hassle than just jacking off normally. People really care that much about scripts? That shit doesn't matter to me at all. I've never tried a handy or anything, but it just seems like a pain in the ass from everything I've read. Clean-up, getting it to stay on, you have to maintain a boner the whole time etc. Why bother?
