Agreed. SLR was able to land Lexi Luna, Siri, Maddy May, Lena Paul, Blake Blossom, Kayley Gunner....that's the kind of talent I'm talking about. They haven't had anyone of that caliber in quite a while. These days there's MAYBE one video per month from them where I can watch it. The last good video they put out for me was with Chloe Surreal and that was months ago
Hurto11 I also think a large majority of fans would much rather have a bland setting/scenery if it means higher quality girls. I'd even take a blank background if it's a top level chick and really good lighting. You don't need to rent out a mansion.
I don't agree at all. I'll take a newer girl that can act a little bit in a beautiful mansion over a porn star that I have seen 10 times in a green warehouse anyday.
The reason (I'm assuming) that they're prioritizing newer girls is because those established girls often already have dozens of scenes in bland settings. I like Anna Claire Clouds and Melody Marks a lot but I'm not exactly heartbroken if they don't get tons of new scenes because they have close to 100 in VR alone just between the two of them already.
No one starts out as a superstar. The problem is that these unknowns are also getting thrown into bland scenes with 14 seconds of setup so you have the double whammy of no context from being unfamiliar talent combined with no context from being GFE video #40345. If anything, some of these newer girls should be used as an excuse for making the suggested scenarios a reality, so you can more easily associate them with the character they're supposed to be. It would also drive users to give them more of a chance because they're being put in more interesting situations beyond "here's two girls you've never heard of in Dirty Laundry 15".

I gave these a quick tryout and here is what I found.
After hours at the alley - The model is definitely attractive to me and I found the setting intriguing. It seems like you could do something really interesting with in this set. The yellowish tint of the video really took me out of the immersion within the first few minutes, I fast forwarded a bit and it did not look like that would change. .... Skip to the next. Maybe some day I will try this with tweaking color settings on Heresphere. But probably not.
Innocent Harem - I start the vid and I am immediately banging. ...Don't like it. I like some tease and build up, etc... I already tend to not like these harem type scenes, and a glance around at the women does not reveal any stunners I can't do without and/or can't find a better scene with them in it else where. Anything over 2-3 models starts to get questionable as far as acting etc... The one exception I will note is Alex Nash's "Your Body Wellness". I real enjoyed that one. Something about the women's strong focus on wanting to be noticed/impassioned by the viewer really worked. As opposed to the viewer really wanting to pick and choose who they wanted. It kind of had a reverse gangbang vibe. So the Innocent harem scene was a skip after a few minutes.
Wtb goth gf - First of all I will just say I would love to find a good goth scene. Some of those SuicideGirls are hot AF. With in the first 30 seconds I just was not attracted to the model. She started talking with the foreign accent and that made it worse for me. A have found a lot of the talent from Eastern Europe to be somewhat boring, just going through the motions. Not worth my time.
Cooking is not Forte - Wow, way too much plastic, make-up, pumped lips for my tastes right off the bat. I like natural for the most part and this model was just the opposite of that. I sometimes try to give these scenes a chance, but rarely. Enough said.
My Dirty Laundry 3 - Finally settled in on this one. I like the nice contrast between the models, both naturally beautiful in their own way. The dialog was a little forced and I am not sure that the models had good chemistry together but I was intrigued and this kept my interest. Moving to the bedroom was smart and soon there after I did not finish watching the whole show, ....so something was done right here. Looking forward to watching more of this one. Only other critic is that there was maybe lack of energy, and the stunt cock may have been a bit small to be handling the larger women. Still thumbs up for me!!

I might add to the previous posts that the release schedule often feels too overwhelming for me, perhaps I am in the minority here.
My opportunities to login and use SLR is irregular and often, I can only indulge myself on the weekend. So once I login, I'll have almost no chance to catch up on all the new releases and mostly select the video based on recognizable casting (new releases from my list of favorite performers), or the most appealing thumbnail/scene setting that matches my personal preference and mood for the day.
For me, there is too much input competing for my limited time that I can dedicate to having fun on the platform. (Not that I am complaining that there are too many videos coming to the SLR-platform each day!)
I guess having more niche videos that do not perform so well isn't bad anyhow, and a nice addition to the platform, offering more variety for different consumer preferences. But if there are 10+ videos being released every day, the offer can easily become overwhelming and some scenes just fall through your current success metrics.
I reviewed those scenes (since you asked!)
For me there is a simple top 3 priority in what scenes I like,
1 ) A girl I think is hot
2 ) Sexy clothes / makeup
3 ) Interesting location or "set up" to the scene
Looking at your scenes I just wasnt drawn to the models, for similar reasons to those mentioned above (i am not so keen on massive tattoos, augmented bodies, piercings) , I must say the Harem one has lots of beauties in it, but I am just not into the Harem thing. I prefer everything to be focused on 1 girl

Most of people do not watch the details of the face and make a judgement about a pornstar.
Pictures do not show how a girl will look in VR ... It takes hours to analyze the symetry of the face, the shape of the eyes, the brighness of the eyes, the density of the skin, the elasticity, the distance between the eyes and the nose, the proportion, the rarity, the distance between the chin and the mouth, the BF that will affect how we could see the bone structure on the face.

SLR has tens of thousands of customers that likely trend towards mainstrem porn and mainstream models - that's why they call it mainstream. The forum population is a few dozen at best, mostly the same people all the time, there to push a niche agenda of their individual likes. That SLR pays so much attention to that is a bit odd to me, and probably the source of the complaints.

If what you’re saying about model requests is true, I’d guess people probably don’t request teen looking girls so much as that’s pretty much all we ever get already. People who are solely into teen looking girls don’t need to make too many requests as they get what they want most of the time. People who want to see different types of models and more established names perhaps are the ones most vocal in that thread.
Will65 Agreed. The most objective way to judge what performs well with the broader SLR audience in general is to look at the top performing videos and the casting for those videos. For the past year, this has meant mostly beautiful young girls who are new to hardcore VR.
Not everybody is into that, and that is ok. Niches should also be catered for, but you should not expect niche videos to be as popular as mainstream porn.
The key here is balance. Continue to mostly cast young, beautiful girls new to the industry as these make the most customers happy. But also have a portion of your videos dedicated towards niches so that those with other tastes also have videos they can enjoy.
dango789 what’s weird to me though is that I would’ve thought VR porn would be a lot to handle for new girls. They have to carry the whole scene on their own, keep eye contact with the camera and get very little verbal communication from their co-star. That’s a lot of extra stuff for someone who’s not even used to having sex on camera yet. Much easier I would’ve thought to start in 2D porn where you don’t have so much to worry about and come back to VR when you’re more at home in front of a camera.
