Hi all. I'm having an ongoing issue that I think is somehow related to my AMD GPU and I'm really spinning my wheels trying to find a fix. I currently have a 6900XT that worked without issue for the better part of a year, but sometime in the fall of 2022 when hovering over the timeline on a video it would instantly lock the SLR App up and hard crash, prompting an AMD Driver Timeout error. At the time I was having other issues with my PC, so figured it could all somehow be related. I've recently upgraded to a new build but kept the GPU. I'm still experiencing this same problem which leads me to believe it is related to the GPU. Specs are as follows: Ryzen 9 7900XT 32gb RAM 6900XT Win 11 64-bit Everything else works fine, just can't use the SLR app (or DeoVR for that matter) without the same issue. Has anyone had any luck with a fix?

Sandi_SLR Glad to know this is being addressed. I just got a 7900 XT, and your app is basically unusable. I couldn't figure out what behavior caused the crashing, until I started googling it. It is for sure crashing when the app tries to call up a video or screen shot preview. On main menu when hovering over a video until it begins to play preview = Crash to Desktop with no error message. Hovering over play bar while watching video is the same. CTD with no error.

Rolling drivers back to 22.5.1 allows the app to run fairly well. Decent fix until SLR rolls out a proper one.

I just got a new gpu (AMD 6950XT) and am running into this issue as well of the app instantly crashing when hovering over the timeline. Is there any update on this? Any ETA for a fix?

This topic has been open for 2 months and, if OP is to be believed, this has been an issue for even longer. While I myself haven't had this issue for that long because, well, I haven't had this gpu for that long, I would be pretty pissed if that would be the case though. Basicially paying for a service you can't use.
