  • App 13.9 released (Alpha for Passthrough, Multi-script)

13.9 Update is available:

Release notes:

New Features:

  • Haptics:
    • Multi-script - Added a dropdown to switch between multiple scripts that play on your Haptic device, read about it here
  • Legal:
    • It is no longer possible to name playlists with forbidden words (you'll get 'invalid title' alert)

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed high bitrate videos crashing
  • Fixed videos crashing with AMD drivers
  • Fixed various UI issues
  • .funscript local playback solution is coming in 13.9.1 hotfix ASAP

Improvements:

  • Passthrough:
    • Extended our fisheye layout, so Studios can take advantage and prepare videos with alpha channel - taking passthrough experience to next level
  • User Interface:
    • App remembers active tab in player panels
    • 'Drag video' function was renamed to 'Dome rotation' and got extended, it can consider controller banking rotation and rotate the dome accordingly (in Global settings / Player or in Player settings there's a new option for “Dome rotation with roll”)
    • Thumbnails in Playlist panel show icons for Passthrough and Scripted videos

      Sandi_SLR The example video looks very promising. I noticed that there is now like a thin black line along the contours of the arms but this is much, much better than green spill and didn't bother me at all. Good job and I look forward to the PT videos that will be coming.

          @Sandi_SLR could you add a way to know if you have the video paused or not. Sometimes I stop the video because "that was a close one" but I don't know if I restart if I also hit the pause button and don't want it to restart. There are other times not knowing if it is paused would be helpful.

          If you are talking about last 2 sliders, they are not part of the defaults.

              Sandi_SLR That's strange. I'm talking about the zoom/pitch/roll/etc functions that have always carried over between videos. I've just reinstalled the app and restarted my computer just in case but the problem persists. I use your app almost daily and have never had this issue until I installed the last update.

                  Unless it’s been fixed overnight. The CzechVR api scenes are all messed up and distorted.

                          Sandi_SLR if you go into DeoVR, go into the CzechVR api (rather than the desktop site) and click play on any of the videos the picture is all discoloured and distorted. At least it was when I was watching yesterday.
