Idk bro but I wasn't to impressed with the presentation, I might have to watch the full presentation in full, but crowd seem meh at times, like some parts mark would say thIs gadget will have THIS! Or we're working with Microsoft! and the crowd had no reaction 🦗🦗, and mark seem like he was expecting a reaction to some of his reveals but got silence.

And who the hell told Mark he needed switch up his look, now he 420 hippy mark? I think I like AI mark better 😁

    The Quest 3S is almost not worth mentioning. Crazy to think it took them 12 months to reskin a Quest 2.

        Presentation was pretty good, some parts kinda awkward, sometimes Mark would mention something and kinda waited for a crowd reaction but didn't get it, one reviewer said the same thing. Said something was kinda awkward with Mark.

        Over all the tech looks awesome though 👍

        Still didn't see any sex appeal 😕

            I don't believe he said that, he just made you believe that. He said it's just as good, avoiding all the points where it's a Q2 (lenses, display etc.). They should have called it Q2S. It's overpriced, considering that entry level Q3 is now only $130 more. I don't know how PT looks but how should it be better than Q3?

                          That's what he said. I re-listened, and he did mention that many of those improvements will flow over to the Quest 3, making it even better. Bottom line, the "Quest 3 family" is the best... according to him.However, the line he dropped about q3s being better than the Quest 3 confused me. It makes me curious about the pt, will it look better? We shall see 👀😉

                              Vrsumo2017 As @Hairsational indicated: Z said the software improvements that happened over the last year make Q2S now effectively better than Q3 was on launch date in 2023, but all the improvements 'have flown through to the Q3 too to make it even better'. He didn't explain 'even better' than what, Q2S or Q3 in 2023.

                              No mention of better cameras. OS is the same, CPU is the same, display and lenses are worse. So my (step)fatherly advice to you is: don't buy it just out of hope for better looking PT.

                              I had pulled my Q2 out of storage the other day to try something. Being used to Q3, it felt like such a tremendous step back, especially the Fresnel lenses.

                                  I think your 'hopefully right', the big downgrade for me is the missing 3.5mm headphone socket, good sound is so important and immersive.

                                  Anyway after getting scammed on ebay, i've taken the plunge again and bought a Quest 3 128gb from Amazon as Meta a going to discontinue the 128gb version making the cheapest Q3 512gb £499, so decided to get in early before they sell out.

                                  Hopefully it's the right choice and the lenses are better as the older Frensel lenses have such a small sweet spot.

                                  Looking forward to seeing the the passthrough in colour and better resolution.

                                      I think you made the right choice for watching porn. When I switched from Q2 to Q3, I wasn't overly excited at first. I had read a lot of forum posts about videos not looking better and screen door effects and I saw all that as well when I put it on for the first time but that changed from the 2nd or 3rd time I used it. When I go back to Q2 now, the overall experience is (subjectively) so much worse than Q3. And even if you are not into PT videos, I find being able to safely move around in a room with the headset on very convenient; the other day with Q2 I felt almost blind.

                                          Thanks for the reply, i seem to have an issue with my quest 2 at the moment where it drifts to the right, and as i use my headset every single day, thought it was the right time, even if prices do come down. over the next few months The Quest 3 in probably the best value for money / quality at the moment and look forward seeing the results and listening to your opinions hopefully made the right choice

                                          I was gonna get the Quest 3S - but looks a bit disappointing similar to the PS5 pro - Fairly poor iterations IMO and a bit pointless.

                                            ...for the record i jumped from Q2 to Q3 pretty much on launch, and saw a definite improvement then, and it's only gotten better since.

                                            One of the endearing experiences of the Q2 was how much it changed over the years. The constant software upgrades meant it was a far better machine by the time i retired it, and i'm seeing the same ethos applied to the Q3. These headsets are far more of a work in progress than the average mobile phone, to be sure. And they're pretty resilient... and lube proof... which is nice...xD

                                            Avakian Lots of videos already, shot years ago that they never released! Can't believe we're actually getting new gabbie carter, katrina jade, lasirena69, Angela White, and more scenes.

                                              Some are old yes, the Lauren Phillips one was done by pornbubvr i Think. But they start advertising for VR again and if i'm not wrong they don't have done this since the last epic fail.
