valve index passthrough

hey anyone with a valve index get it working. i cant get it to layer with my passthrough cams. either the cams are on and i can see my room or i can see the video but just a black background. both dont work at the same time like it does on my quest 2. its not the chroma ive got that down pretty decent

From my own experience - there's a small button on the lower left underside of the headset. When you've got a Passthrough scene running, click on that button 2x super quick and it should switch to the camera mode.

I did that and used the controller to do the same, but thats what i meant by either the pass through is on or the video is on. i did read slr's notes on that. if i move the headset really fast i see it as an after image and i can see an edge of the scene if i remove the magnetic mask and look into the lens at an extreme angle that its there but it wont overlay the video image over the cameras pass throughs active live feed.

zimzaderk Hmmm...have you couble-checked that you have the Index's camera enabled in the actual SteamVR settings, and the "Room View Style" set to "Translucent" rather than "Opaque"?
