Sandi_SLR About point 1. I thought this was a great feature also but it no longer worked like that for me on Pico 4 so I thought it had been removed.

fenderwq It should be working in latest version, will ask testers to check again.

Edit: They tested, works fine on Pico4.

metaverse lol, I've always seen that but just shrug it off, like idk wth that does 🤷‍♂️

OK, so what am looking for, what's its supposed actually do?

Vrsumo2017 Please keep it somewhat on topic, feel free to open a new one, so we keep it organized, thank you.

        Oops 😬

Sorry, sometimes I don't realize what discussions I'm in. 😔

metaverse exactly what I'm talking about, but i should be able to set the zoom starting point where I want it, I have mine by default -8.0, but when I turn it on it sets it at 9.0

And it needs more zooming in and out when i move my head forward and back. Like a lot

Or let the viewers choose how much it will zoom and set their settings as default.

Works good tho, worked great with pass-through features too 👍

totally agree that fixing the screen (2D videos) is a great idea.

Thank you very much, I didn't know that
          Open brush has that.
It is amazing, especially the Pic with png extention.

can you please tell me how you did that video (with passthrough )
          in Unity ?

            water10fall

i myself still noob when it comes to unity...

but i manage to config passthrough and use it on pico 4 and make like an noobish AR app that way...
it is easy and only need to add a script that activates passthrough and after you just follow tutorials how to add controllers and how to move and scale objects inside app...

on quest 2 it's more easy because there already good tutorials how to do passthrough and there already good sample with controller and objects that you can move around and scale like this one tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJANudr3Wu0&ab_channel=DilmerValecillos

just replace these object with a porn clip but first cut out background with tools of your choice...

just google how to add clip or picture in unity with transparent background or greenscreen...there many tutorials on that and even for how to do it for AR...
its not that hard to do and easy to figure out...^^
here two quick ways example tutorial of many:
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ5igH8sGVE&ab_channel=MikeMurphyCo
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve_NQgrlfto&ab_channel=Mtir%27sCode

            result should look like this:
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bMbecZWLAM&ab_channel=CVLabResearch

then create app and move to your headset and enjoy play around with that clip...scale, move in position you wish in your room...

            simple that.
enjoy full 6dof and girls in your room ^^

i would recommend to search for porn clips where you see full complete body of the girls or guys and where the camera don't moves much in that porn clip. with such clips and scenes it works the best.

that just one way how to do it by yourself and if doing it right...the result going be awesome and almost same immersed looking like the 180vr passthrough clips.

Thanks a lot for your answer, i definitely will try that.

i wish deovr had that same option like open brush.
the control in open brush is very easy , so you can choose the right angle, position and scale and move the  floating video or pic.

Hello everybody, I don't want to open a new thread for this, but just wanted to throw in the idea to add a blur effect slider to the passthrough video as well, depending on the passthrough camera quality this might add to immersion I think.

as a passthrough enthusiast like you
I would like to thank all devour developers.
because they have done a great work, especially with passthrough.
For me, pt on version13.3 was also faster
but version 13.5 is more accurate.

But I found the faster way
I hope maybe it will help
Of course it depends on the background.
              I always start like this
              first:
              hue 50

              saturation 100

              brightness 100

              color rang 500

              Second:
              After that
i just try to modify hue to see if it works and when not ..

              1. then i try to do the same thing with color rang

              I always put
              saturation 100
              brightness 100
              and I don't touch them

and usually the hue rang between 30 t0 60
color rang     between 450 to  550

                water10fall I always put
                saturation 100
                brightness 100

Yeah G, that's what I was doing too, and move hue and color range, I few times I got a quick pass-through but other times it didn't work, or maybe I didn't do the method right...

But for sum reason when i found a pt quik I notice the square box ended on green, did you get that too?

water10fall I always start like this
                  first:
                  hue 50

                  saturation 100

                  brightness 100

                  color rang 500

Maybe they could put a "set as default" so you won't set it everytime.. but then again the settings do stay in place for each video we set up for pt. Idk

I think they'll get it down where it's super quick to find pt.

But yeah 13.3 was very fast, still is 😉

                    Vrsumo2017
                    for me with this method
                    it takes like 20 seconds

and pt works very good on 2d videos
i hope just if we could fix the screen postion in 2d videos

water10fall Wait, u could use pt on 2d videos? I didn't know that. I'll check it out when I get a chance this weekend.
