One difference that more users of this site might regard is that of the SLR "fair use" (which, again, means something different in law and should be changed) and that of POVR.com, their main competition.
Unlike SLR, POVR allows UNLIMITED downloads. HOWEVER, what they are actually offering is much less than SLR and 30 downloads per 144h period...
POVR does not support STUDIO files. Every video that you can "download" from them has passed through their algorithm, which destroys the quality of the film -- in most cases, the films are lower quality than what you'd stream here.
Also, SLR provides a method for users to download multiple files without standing near the computer, unlike POVR. If you add POVR "files" to a download manager it will freeze after a certain amount of time -- often users can't even download big films (20 GB or thereabouts).
So, there's the praise, and here's the SLR criticism.
144h is just plain stupid. That's the reason that lots of their content is now circulating all over darkweb shares and torrents. Hackers from places like Turkey break user passcodes and periodically download just a couple of files to share on their sites. Users here don't figure out what's going on because there's no reasonable measure to know how many files are left in the queue. Folks forget the number -- most folks who subscribe and don't go anywhere near that high limit....
