  • BYOJ feature-So I created a video how do I play it?

presenthelot Thank you I wanted to start plying with this and wasn't sure how to find the video ID either but got it from the end video url too !

This is gonna be fun, gonna see if I can make a compilation supercut of my favorite girls within a compilation or girl specific videos for the PMV's that switch between couple. Super neat feature idea !

Nyrphae This is correct as I just tested it. You leave the question field blank and put one 'Jump to:' as the next episode in your order.

After some testing yesterday I love the idea of this and I think it would be absolutely amazing with 2 main improvements if possible....

  1. Playback continuity/speed. Could be because it was the first day of release and/or bugs that need to be fixed but I found the playback of my BYOJ to be extremely slow. I tried my BYOJ, the SLR sample BYOJ, and then a really simple one episode test BYOJ and all ran quite slow with long lag times.

  2. Resolution. I know sometimes with the additional processing res can suffer a bit but if it can be improved that would make a big difference in terms of immersion level for each of these BYOJs that we spend the time to create.

BYOJ feature running super smooth today! And Handy usually hooks up quick for the most part.

I have some suggestions. A pure cut of the original movies into different segments won't work. I think you need different outcome based on different scenario. I think may be do something like sexselector.com. I think they first make a full length video then cut it into different segments and then set the choices and reshoot some video clips.

For instance, let say a housemaid enter the house, you can ask her to take off her clothes, pay her to blow you, etc... and then enter any choice scenario where you can choose to go to the pool or go to the bath, and so on and so forth, and then in the end you can choose where to shoot, mouth, inside, etc...

doublevr

Hi @doublevr, It's been 5 months since you said it was being made for the web, but either I can't find how to run it on the web or it's not there yet.

Do you know if is going to be working on web soon? or is there a way to run the app on windows without VRGlasses?

Darkchacal23 Hey, it is actually in development now. There are 2 parts going on at the moment:

    • making BYOJ public so you will be able to share it with other users
    • updating the web player so it will support BYOJ and Shorts

I can't give any estimate yet, will follow up when It gets near.

I really like BYOJ and bought SLR lifetime membership partly because of that. I am wondering is it possible to do multiple trim in single video? Like A-B loop but there should be also C-D and E-F? We can have 1 h long video and I want to watch only from 10 min to 15 min and after that from 37 min to 41 min and from 43 min to 47 min. I know I can use "add Jump" many times and put start time and end time. Problem is that it takes about 3 seconds to play video after jump and it brakes immersion. Jump should be faster inside the same video when only start time is different. Is there some code to write Raw Json Editor to handle this function?

Picouser You can create more episodes with same video ID and different times.

For loading time, we are working on caching solution that would bring that time way down.

Hi- It would also be great if you can jump to the same episode, to mimic looping. Currently, you would have to jump to a different 1 second segment, before going back.

Sandi_SLR Hey there. I have the looping episode as the last jump in the video. At that point, you're looping because you want to be looping. To get out, simply exit the video. It's the best part that you want on repeat. Basically, it's existing functionality, so why not allow it and let the user decide on how to use it. Exiting the video will solve unwanted looping mistakes. No harm. Thanks!

toddforum we remember where you exited the video, so no way to exit the loop. There would need to be some extra logic introduced to start from beginning of the bjoy.
One way also would be to activate AB loop.
          Or fixed number of loops.

Sandi_SLR Hm, that's odd, because that's not my experience currently. I have loops now going between two episodes infinitely, and I'm not seeing what you are indicating. When I exit the video and click back into it, it always plays from the beginning, the first episode.... oh, or maybe because I had set the player to always start from the beginning as a global setting?

Is there no way to play it in a desktop browser? That will make the development and testing easy before going into the headset
