rerun119 I think it's possible you may be overestimating the significance of the "like" feature in regards to SLR gathering data on what is popular.
If SLR are on the ball they would be well equipped to gather very specific data about specific variables for each scene.
Rather than just counting views, they'll know how many of said views are repeat views, the day/time/region a scene is most popular, whether it's a popular scene predominantly for new subscribers or older subscribers etc.
The "like" button is primarily a convenience function for the user. It's essentially saying "I want to be able to easily find this scene again next time"
Personally I rarely bother with "liking" scenes since there are relatively few scenes in the categories I frequent.
