Wow... thanks for the heads up on this. I wasn't worried about downloading the vids because I was just going to sub to VRConk but if they aren't even available there... then that's horrible. Unfortunately, only 4 downloads left in my 144h period (not sure when it refreshes). Going to have to choose wisely...

Yeah, it’s crazy that all those scenes just disappeared from the site. I’ve no idea why you’d do that. If they are just going to be a parody/cosplay site, why remove the Inception themed scene with Katie Kush? Also why bring back Pocket Hoe and some others that are just standard porn scenes? It’s all very confusing and just a strange decision to bin a load of your content which you paid for and would still be drawing in subscribers.

petermc Inception is a special case. That one was missing in the video list for a while already, but still available through direct link. After the "big purge" it was gone completely.

doublevr sucks about VRB. i stop subbing to them because SLR had it. They can cancel all they want, but im not going to sub back with them haha.

I still download the last scenes. But their Videos are not available anymore.
It's a very sad moment for me. It was always sure, that VRBangers-videos are in outstanding quality and every now and then they brought a big name of the industry. Sometimes they were the only ones who had a good quality video of a pornstar, like Riley Reid, Romi Rain, Nina Elle, Kayla Kayden, Alina Lopez, Alexis Fawx, Angelica Taylor etc etc.

But i guess i will stay at SLR. Since i use SLR, watching VR-Videos is so much easier than before. They have this fabulous App, they try new stuff like passthrough, i don't have to download anything (except now) and i like this combination of very various studios. But in my opinion, there should be a minimum standard of the video quality which is increasing over time. Especially new studios are releasing new stuff to SLR sometimes which is in quality like we used to have in 2016. And even longterm partners of SLR are doing so sometimes.

ocbschnee I learned this afternoon that they were leaving. I was going to download some and come evening they are gone. Too bad. Explains why I have been getting spammed with emails to subscribe to VrBangers/VR Conk.

There is still plenty of high quality videos though and SLR has been improving their rig and quality .

I wanted to take a VRBANGER subscription on the site but no script so this deletion is useless it's just commercial

They’re not really the script creators though, they’re just transcribing what was already created by the studio so I doubt they’re allowed to sell stuff without permission of the people who own the content.

THEREVO it’s fairly obvious why they’ve done it. They have their own website and they want you to pay them to watch their content rather than get it for free on SLR. Whether it works out for them and increases their revenues remains to be seen.

Pretty big loss for the network. The VR Conk releaeses were one part of the appeal of this network for me.

I can't see how you'll be able to make up for that loss, except maybe with an increased rate of internal productions.

LordCrash Yes, the VRBangers videos were one of the big selling points over the aggregator competition, as they appeared on SLR with less delay.

Where I myself have lifetime accounts with the bigger studios to be a bit more independent from a single provider in terms of availability, compliance and number of allowed downloads.

So on SLR, I'm mainly interested in the in-house productions and smaller studios. But for the casual user, this is certainly a significant loss.

I'll just mention that VRBangers and VRConk both release 1 scene per week (which oddly I never really see discussed anywhere considering they reduced their release frequency fairly recently), and starting in January we're aiming for 20 SLR Originals per month (which would be 4-5 depending on the week). So there's that.

That's good to know. I do hope that they can make up for the lost content but I'm not convinced yet. VRB and VRC might have only provided one scene a week each but for the most part it was pretty good content with a distinct visual style (e.g. by using more vibrant colors).
