  • ❌ VRBangers, VRConk, Dezyred, VRBGay, VRBTrans are OUT

Apologies if I’m out of place for asking here, but are these scripts not even able to be purchased from the script creators themselves? I’m ok with purchasing scripts where ever they might exist.

Tried to buy some of VRbangers scripts on SLR last night before they went down and it seems they were all taken down before midnight PST which was kind of a bummer.

They’re not really the script creators though, they’re just transcribing what was already created by the studio so I doubt they’re allowed to sell stuff without permission of the people who own the content.

THEREVO it’s fairly obvious why they’ve done it. They have their own website and they want you to pay them to watch their content rather than get it for free on SLR. Whether it works out for them and increases their revenues remains to be seen.

Pretty big loss for the network. The VR Conk releaeses were one part of the appeal of this network for me.

I can't see how you'll be able to make up for that loss, except maybe with an increased rate of internal productions.

LordCrash Yes, the VRBangers videos were one of the big selling points over the aggregator competition, as they appeared on SLR with less delay.

Where I myself have lifetime accounts with the bigger studios to be a bit more independent from a single provider in terms of availability, compliance and number of allowed downloads.

So on SLR, I'm mainly interested in the in-house productions and smaller studios. But for the casual user, this is certainly a significant loss.

justsomedude101 which oddly I never really see discussed anywhere considering they reduced their release frequency fairly recently

They don't have a forum so it's no big surprise that there are not much visible discussions about that...

That's good to know. I do hope that they can make up for the lost content but I'm not convinced yet. VRB and VRC might have only provided one scene a week each but for the most part it was pretty good content with a distinct visual style (e.g. by using more vibrant colors).

justsomedude101 I'll just mention that VRBangers and VRConk both release 1 scene per week

        Wait...

Are you saying that VRB and VRC are airing 1 scene per week each on their site? Or was it SLR only?

doublevr 1 release per week on their site(s).

For VRBangers specifically - prior to July they used to alternate between 1 or 2 releases per week, so in other words they cut their releases by 33% mid-year.

doublevr Prior to COVID VRBangers had a stable 2 scenes a week schedule with own scenes (Tue and Fri). Started with COVID lockdown they went down to one release a week (on Fri) and released on Tue scenes from other studios as bonuses (like WetVR, VirtualTaboo...). After COVID lockdown phase they never recovered from their only 1 scene a week schedule (on Friday) and it seems they also cannot afford the bonus scenes from other studios anymore. On the other hand they are heavily active on marketing with emails and started a new Brand Blow VR. It seems they want to recycle all the blowjob parts of their scenes into new scenes of a new brand. And they are now promoting a Soccer WorldCup special starting tomorrow with 11 parts every day until the final. (6 actresses playing and one referee). For me it ssems they've produced a harem scene with 7 girls and are now cutting them into 11 parts....!

LordCrash They don't have a forum so it's no big surprise that there are not much visible discussions about that...

They have forums again on both sites. A little bit hidden under the account settings - but not much discussions are going on there. The reduction was discussed on Wankz and Reddit a few times.

someoneX do they still have them. I know they did bring the forums back but now can’t find the VRB one. It wasn’t very active though anyway, like you said.

petermc Yes, you have to go to "My Account / Community" to find them.

I also hope that SLR will make good quality videos with 20 a month. I'm also not convinced yet either. Fingers crossed.
I still believe that if you make 20 videos and 6 of them are not good with camera distance problems, ext. that it hurts your brand.
Even with vrBangers only putting out one video a week ppl would get excited because they believed that it was going to be good. Thats why you don't see ppl complaining about it. Putting out a bad video is worse than no video at all. ppl lose faith.

VRBANGER is stupid not to put the scripts on the studio's website

Deletion ok... But not being able to buy the content even on their platform is to die of laughter.

                5 days later

Say what you will about VRBangers quality, but one thing these other VR sites get 100% right, is the ability to fully download any video. It is far far far to common on this site that multiple specific videos never download fully, and end up with a 6gb out of 12 Gb file. Also masquerading a support solution for this when you tell users to email support team, whose only suggestion is to just stream the video instead. Maybe an industry shake up is needed, cause I for one am getting fairly annoyed that some of the best videos on this site 100% of the time fail to download correctly without downloading assistant software that is another subscription on its own.

barstin52 i noticed this download mid-fail super often also, realized for me it was specific to google chrome. i switched to downloading via safari and all the downloads worked. it STILL continued to mid-fail BUT on chrome it was locked that way after the mid-fail, on safari, you can jump start resume it and it will continue to download from where it mid-failed and havent noticed issues with the files yet
