Mutiny Hey, at least you had a go and you tried something a bit creative and different. Sorry it was a one and done. I don’t think it’s as bad as some are making out, it didn’t look noticeably worse than SLRO’s usual scenes to me. I didn’t think it was a new director when I watched it. I did think the premise would annoy the VR purists on here though. Most seem to like to pretend they’re the guy in the scene and not be reminded that they’re actually a dude at home jerking off. It didn’t bother me too much but I knew it would bother some.

Still, it has 767 likes so that’s not bad. There’s lots of scenes on here with lower numbers than that and I don’t think Jade has a huge built in fanbase that would boost your numbers.

I feel like some of the reactions to that scene have been blown out of proportion. Yes, it may not have been the best scene ever, but it's certainly not the worst either especially for a first timer.

As I've mentioned before in this forum, the thing that makes SLR scenes stand out isn't just their casting or their camera quality. Other studios like CzechVR and Badoink produce similarly high-quality results. What makes SLR stand out for me is their unique 'closeup missionary' pos, it's done so well that you just can't find it elsewhere. It's honestly the main reason I stick around, even though it's a position that most directors, including those at VRFS, often avoid for some reason. And with all due respect, I don't think VRFS deserves all the praise they've been getting since they moved on.

This particular position is typically shot by Alex Nash and, on the rare occasion, by Alex Mack. Kudos to Mutiny for having the guts to tackle this position on his first try; it's disappointing to hear this will be your first and last scene. Despite the criticism, I genuinely enjoyed it as a whole.

Chlayt yeah it wasn't bad, had sum pretty good action, camera position could of been better during laying cg rcg, cam just needed to come back more imo. Needed more upper male chest in frame

That missionary was looking good tho, had male upper chest and shoulder traps in frame, that's how it like it, like a full body. 👍

But I wouldn't say the scene was awful. It was decent 🤷‍♂️...trust me I've seen a lot worst from other top studios.

Mutiny yea when i looked at the scene , for it being your first attempt , it wasnt horrible as to how i see the comments , i feel like the quality of the video resolution would be some that can be fixed, sorry 😞 that all the negative comments made you feel like you dont have potential. i feel like this scene would serve as a base point to learn where to focus improvement and do some testing with the quality. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just got a notification that Mutiny content will be removed off platform on October 31st. Of all the PMV editors, I feel like @Mutiny has been the best and most creative. Strange to see these go, but I will definitely make sure to download whatever I don't have, as well as the scripts before the 31st.

Dude -- Please excuse my lack of communication skills and fogetting for a moment that simple text does not always convey the subtext. I was being facitious.

I LOVE your website and have been one of your biggest supporters -- go read some of my other posts defending you and the website when people lash out.

I run a company too, and I understand sometimes the pressure gets so bad it triggers my anger issues, so I'm not taking this personally. I'm glad I don't need to rely on forums, social media, and other type of things like that to judge how my clients are reacting -- I wouldn't be able to take it.

I don't know what kinds of challenges you faced making your way to the top, but I faced a lot -- poverty, people putting me down, underestimating me, telling me I was lazy, useless, stupid, childhood abuse -- a lot of shit.

When I start to feel life, clients, and/or business ups and downs getting the best of me, I remember where I came from, what I have now in terms of both material wealth AND the wealth that really matters, and how all the fuckers who tried to keep me down have sucky lives compared to mine or are dead.

It helps.
