Got mine from XRshop in November. You'll pay about $50Cad in duties. XR was fine, they sent it about a week after the order. I think they got a lot of flack from being overwhelmed with orders and customers wanting their unit like 5 years before launch.

It's a great little unit. Very light and balanced. The DeoVR is a bit of an improvement over the native player via file manager, so don't sweat it if DeoVR is still finicky. (Download the videos onto your computer then transfer to pico)

For passthrough, DNLA and websites like SLR, DeoVR is a must. Setup a Sidequest account then load the link above on the pico browser

You'll get a kick out of the video "Open Borders: O Canada" starring Isabelle Reese. Take a look in the background set decorations. Hilarious! Stuff only a Canuck will recognize. It's like the show "Outer Limits" every shot had a hockey puck hidden somewhere.

    so the chinese can watch me masturbate now too, meaning I got a pico 4 and I like it. Its not a huge leap from the Q2 but the lenses are def. better, the FOV is too and image quality is also great. all in all id say its a Q2+, still some issues on the software side but also nice to see a pretty barebone android OS running on it.. hopefully not too much bytedance spyware.

    Stefan23121 The proportions are not quite right. But it has been significantly improved with the last update. The resolution of the Pico 4's passthrough is higher than that of the Quest Pro, but the 3D view is supposed to be better on the Quest Pro.

    I been seeing reviews some users say the pass-through on pico doesn't look 3d-ish or they saying things look further cuz pico using one camera for pt.

    So now I'm debating on getting it.

    I dare someone to film sum laying cg or standing doggy, give an example how it look. 😏

      The Pico there is not sold by Walmart, but it also offers warranty too, which I'd never get cuz Walmart warranties sucks.

        Someone said, idk if it was here or another discussion but they said they used the Pico with out the guard with pt and it looked great.

        I tried it with my q2, that does look pretty cool, basicly like a full 360 view more then 200° fisheye, but of course the q2 to heavy to wear with out the face guard, but what would a modify facegaurd be like if it were to help wear the q2 like glasses. 🤔

        I use to use a face guard that had kinda of big gap if I looked down i could see my full chest, I thought that was pretty cool during sum laying cg rcg, u'd look down towards penatration and line up your stunt d to the male models stunt d, I thought it was pretty cool at the moment. This was b4 pt. 🤷‍♂️

        as far i know pico 4 passthrough is same to quest pro but the 3d just a little worse...

        i have no knowledge about how the depth works on both but on pico 4 there clearly a lack on depth but which only noticeable if you move around or if you hands close to the single rbg camera...

        but you can see same problem with quest pro even in that clip at start...the hands bigger than the ak47 he holds and it looks some weird.

        i hope i understand the depth thing right...

                yes.

                quest pro removed depth before release for unknown reasons...

                we are very close to perfect passthrough but pico 4 and quest pro are clearly have lack on that at the moment.
                both are have there plus and minus compared to each other.

                let's hope that soon or next year someone releases this perefect passthrough where you can't more feel and see the difference and don't notice such things as depth, 3d issues more....and all in nice quality. =)

                passthrough gonna be amazing very soon in the future and then we just need only good apps which focus on porn only and are user friendly and easy to use.

                    dudu32 I think they can do it now but they gotta save that for next releases, can't give all the goods all at once, gotta keep the customers coming back for more...

                    I bet Quest 2 could of had color, like for real, are we in the 1900's where all cameras are in black and gray, I'm sure they could of made it with color. 🤷‍♂️

                        Vrsumo2017 It's not that easy if you want lightweight goggles and the battery is supposed to last 2 hours. Pico 4 works 100% when using passthrough. The battery drains very quickly. You want high resolution images from 2 color cameras with high refresh rate (maybe even 90 fps). XR2 chip with only one RGB camera (Quest pro or Pico 4) works at 100% power. Of course passthrough itself doesn't kill the CPU but passthrough + os + app like DeoVr = XR2 rip 🙂

                          got mine from amazon UK really quick, in less than 2 weeks iirc, waiting for the weekend to unbox it and see if i can't use it offline somehow so videos of me gooning don't end up on tiktok

                          has anyone figured out how to sideload heresphere on it? or am i stuck with deovr for the moment?

                            there exist very small amount progs for pico 4 right now at this moment...
                            maybe someone gonna start to port these soon too like the games...

                            heresphere probably one of the app that still don't exist and ported for pico 4 but you probably can try use the steam version and run it through VD or StreamAssistant...
                            that way should work and for many other progs...it's just not native apk.

                            i'm sure that soon pico 4 gonna have everything same like quest 2 when it comes to soft apk and sideloads...just need to wait for people who do that job and work.

                                        i had quest 2 before pico 4 and i dont remember that quest 2 had 3d passthrough xD...

                                        for me pico 4 are clearly an improvement cause of color...that makes things already great in passthrough and enjoyable. still not perfect when it comes to quality and clarity but way way better than quest 2...

                                        the black-white of quest 2 just ruins the immersion and is rly bad quality....hard to enjoy anything in passthrough.

                                        i tried passthrough porn on both and many porn stuff with both...
                                        pico 4 wins clearly here over the quest 2 passthrough.

                                        just the pico 4 uses the front 5th single camera for colorize everything and the 4 slam cams does the fake 3d.

                                        i think both don't has good 3d but even the quest pro don't rly looks like it has so much better 3d than pico 4....

                                            Of course upgrading to color pt is a plus but how do the models look in pt in your room, example say I in a lay cg rcg, does it look good and do the walls of your bg look further away due to its one camera, or it's not that big of a deal??

                                                it looks a little bit zoomed in but still feels like your own eyes and like if you had just some normal goggles on and see through.

                                                so idk if you mean that but that not so bad and you get fast used to that and stop to notice such things when start playing around with passthrough...

                                                i tried to put some models on my couch, bed, and on my dick...it looks like the things are really in your room and everything fits good.

                                                when i try some passthrough porn on pico 4...i still have this feel that the girl really infront of me and that immersion + able to see own room in color is amazing and feels nice.

                                                its great experience.
                                                not perfect but clearly an improvement over the quest 2 overall.
